ROUNDUP: Eldorado boys miss late shot, fall in Mission Prep Classic
A potential game-tying 3-pointer in the final minute wouldn’t fall for Eldorado’s boys on Monday as the Sundevils dropped a 67-64 decision to Fremont (Calif.) in the Mission Prep Christmas Classic at San Luis Obispo, Calif.
Mitrell Clark led Eldorado with 21 points. Marcus Moreland added 17 points for the Sundevils.
Foothill 75, Galena 37 — At Foothill, Chris Clementi scored 15 points as the Falcons opened up an early lead and kept pulling away.
Gage Huff added 12 points for Foothill, which led 56-20 after three quarters.
Michael Arciniega and Victor Walker each scored 13 points for Galena.
Lake Mead 71, Lincoln County 58 — At Panaca, De’Quan Thompson had 13 of his team-high 23 points in the third quarter to help the Eagles down the Lynx.
Lake Mead led 37-35 at the half, then outscored Lincoln County 27-12 in the third quarter to take control.
Jeffrey Newton (12), Demetrius Turner (11) and Landon Littlefield (10) also scored in double figures for Lake Mead.
Dantley Walker had 33 points for Lincoln County.
