ROUNDUP: Clutch free throw shooting leads Rattlers past Bulldogs

Royale Jackson and Carlous Kline each made two free throws down the stretch Friday to propel Mojave’s boys basketball team to a 60-56 home win over Centennial.

Jackson finished with 16 points for Mojave. Quintarrus Harper scored 15 points, and Marquise Jefferey-Strickland had 10 points and 13 rebounds for Mojave.

Aaseem Dixon had 17 points, and Ryan Vozzola added 12 for Centennial.

Cimarron-Memorial 67, Legacy 63 — At Cimarron, Kevin Olekaibe poured in 30 points as the Spartans nipped Legacy.

Ben Dorsey added 10 points, and Erik Brewer pulled down 10 rebounds for the Spartans.

Ira Haywood paced Legacy with 22 points. Samuel Johnson added 15 points and Brian McDaniel had 11 for the Longhorns.

Arbor View 67, Shadow Ridge 58 — At Arbor View, Darington Banks scored 21 points and had seven rebounds to lead the Aggies past the Mustangs.

Banks was 11-for-13 from the foul line, and Arbor View made 19 free throws to only six for Shadow Ridge.

Pierson Heath added 12 points for the Aggies.

Ronnie Thomas scored 24 points, and Zach Hafen chipped in 20 for the Mustangs.

Coronado 59, Silverado 46 — At Coronado, Brandon Glanz had 24 points and 16 rebounds, and Austin Nelson added 21 points, 10 steals and nine assists to lead the Cougars past the Skyhawks.

Ruben Jackson scored 17 points, and teammates Dwayne Marshall and David Lutomski each had 10 for Silverado.

Basic 76, Del Sol 60 — At Basic, Tyler Dobbins had 12 of his 29 points in the second quarter and added five rebounds and five assists as the Wolves overcame an early 19-8 deficit and downed the Dragons.

Toney Jones scored 14 points, and John Polin and Vince Carducci each had 12 points. Polin also grabbed nine rebounds.

Jeff Coon led Del Sol with 27 points. James Johnson scored 13 points and Devontti Gilmore added 11 for the Dragons.

Green Valley 72, Tech 59 — At Tech, Glenn Bewley scored 15 points to help the Gators run past the Roadrunners.

Mike Johnson scored 24 points to lead Tech, which was unable to overcome Green Valley’s 42-31 rebounding advantage.

Bishop Gorman 89, Sierra Vista 51 — At Gorman, Shabazz Muhammad scored 20 points, and Xavier Grimble had 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Gaels past the Lions.

Taylor Spencer had 15 points, and Johnathan Loyd had 11 assists for Gorman.

Viko Noma’aea had 18 points, and Justice Odabi scored 13 points for Sierra Vista. 

Desert Oasis 69, Bonanza 46 — At Desert Oasis, Anthony Lianzo led four players in double figures with 22 points as the Diamondbacks beat the Bengals.

Cameron Mich’l added 13 points and seven rebounds for Desert Oasis, which outscored Bonanza 26-10 in the third quarter to pull away.

Cameron Jefferson had 11 points and Zach Bobenhausen had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Diamondbacks.

DaSean Martin led Bonanza with 10 points.

Durango 73, Clark 66 — At Durango, Donovan Williams scored 24 points to help the Trailblazers rally past the Chargers.

Devonte Williams scored 20 points for Durango, which fell behind early before rallying in the third quarter.

Steven Dancy scored 30 points to lead Clark, which scored the game’s first 11 points.

Western 69, Pahrump Valley 50 — At Pahrump, Albert Miller scored all 15 of his points in the second half to lead the Warriors past the Trojans.

Sir Washington had 20 points and Joseph Gerideau scored 12 for Western.

Pahrump got as close as 36-34 before the Warriors pulled away.

Alex Anderson scored 17 for the Trojans, who lost their 20th consecutive Southwest League contest.

Faith Lutheran 50, Moapa Valley 43 — At Faith Lutheran, Sam Done had 20 points as the Crusaders held off the Pirates.

Wade Norman added 10 points for Faith Lutheran.

Hayden Cooper scored 13 and Zach Geary added 12 for Moapa Valley.

Virgin Valley 56, Boulder City 42 — At Mesquite, Austin Cloes scored all 16 of his points in the second half, including two key 3-pointers in the third quarter, as the Bulldogs downed Boulder City.

Jason Wittwer added 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Virgin Valley.

Kyle Dimpel and Preston Swasey each scored 11 points for the Eagles.

Needles 63, The Meadows 58 — At Needles, Calif., Aaron Burns had 23 points and 17 rebounds to lead Needles to an overtime win over The Meadows.

Anthony Ramos added 17 points and Michael Hills scored 12 for Needles.

Garrett Gosse led The Meadows with 23 points. Max Newman added 15 points and Austin Brown had 10.

Agassi Prep 61, Calvary Chapel 59 — At Calvary Chapel, Dimitri Amos scored 23 points to lead the Stars past the Lions.

Quincy Brown and Anson Williams added 12 points each for Agassi Prep, which outscored Calvary Chapel 18-13 in the fourth quarter to win.

Tyler Moore led Calvary Chapel with 20 points. Brandon Corbitt added 14 points and Joey Peterson pitched in 12 for the Lions.

Mountain View 53, White Pine 42 — At Mountain View, Justyn Anderson had 25 points, three steals and three assists to lead the Saints past the Bobcats.

Mountain View led 20-4 after one quarter and 33-12 at the half, but White Pine rallied to tie the game at 37 with seven minutes to play.

Cortland LeBoeuf added 11 points and Trevor Van Kempen had 10 for the Saints.

Michael Johnson and Jacob Ashby each scored 11 points for the Bobcats.

Lincoln County 88, West Wendover 76 — At Panaca, Dantley Walker made 24-of-27 free throws and finished with 43 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the Lynx’s win over West Wendover.

Eric Rippetoe added 27 points and nine rebounds, and Tyler Wadsworth had 11 points for Lincoln County.

Drew Arrien led the Wolverines with 24 points. Miles Bostock scored 21 and Corey Bostock had 12 for West Wendover.

Pahranagat Valley 93, Round Mountain 31 — At Round Mountain, Tyler Higbee scored 21 points to lead the Panthers in a rout of the Knights.

Cody Hosier added 15 points for the Panthers, and Tommy Williams chipped in 12.

Will Sweeney paced Round Mountain with 16 points.

Spring Mountain 55, Henderson International 31 — At Saville Middle School, Leon Saunders had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles past the Wolverines.

De’Andre Hampton added 13 points for Spring Mountain, which broke open a close game with a big second quarter.

Lake Mead 62, Beatty 35 — At Beatty, Landon Littlefield scored 21 points to lead the Eagles by the Hornets.

De’Quan Thompson added 20 points for Lake Mead, which led 19-2 after the first quarter.

Anthony Regalado led Beatty with 16 points.
