Brandon Ashley had 18 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks to power Findlay Prep’s basketball team to a 103-55 home win over La Jolla Prep (Calif.) at Henderson International on Thursday.
Winston Shepard scored 20 points for Findlay Prep (21-1), and Nigel Williams-Goss supplied 15 points and nine rebounds.
Chris Wood, a junior forward who has committed to UNLV, had 16 points and seven rebounds for the Pilots, and Nick Madray added 15 points.
Canyon Springs 85, Rancho 46 — At Canyon Springs, James Jones had 17 points, and the Pioneers overcame an early 15-11 deficit to rout the Rams.
Gerad Davis added 12 points for Canyon Springs, which had 13 players score.
Ronnie Thomas led Rancho with 12 points. Ciaran Subira added 10 points for the Rams.
Valley 67, Chaparral 52 — At Chaparral, Ryan Johnson led four double-figure scorers with 13 points as the Vikings downed the Cowboys.
Caleb Carter and Chris Swanson scored 12 points apiece for Valley, and teammate Cameron Burton added 11 points.
Kevin Morgan led Chaparral with 16 points and nine assists. Kamron Alexander added 14 points, and Jared Celestine scored 11 for the Cowboys.
Las Vegas 89, Sunrise Mountain 47 — At Sunrise Mountain, Hasaan Henderson scored 20 points to lead the Wildcats to an easy win over the Miners.
Juwan Major had 17 points, Olynsso Pratt scored 15 and Traven Yancey scored 11 for Las Vegas, which led 37-12 after the first quarter.
Fharhaad Zinnamon had 12 points and Daquwan Doyle scored 10 for Sunrise Mountain.
Lincoln County 70, Calvary Chapel 52 — At Calvary Chapel, Ryan Rippetoe tallied 22 points, and the Lynx hopped to a 40-26 halftime lead on their way to a win over the Lions.
Chandler Katschke added 20 points for Lincoln County.
C.J. Castro paced Calvary Chapel with 12 points, and teammate Drew Hammond scored 10.
