GIRLS BASKETBALL: Lea Williams sparks Rancho past Basic

Lea Williams scored a game-high 19 points Thursday to lead Rancho’s girls basketball team to a 53-32 win over visiting Basic.

Kyndal Ricks added 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists, and Sam Pochop had nine points and 22 rebounds for Rancho, which led 28-15 at halftime.

Lauren Powell led Basic with 13 points.

Arbor View 48, Eldorado 31 — At Eldorado, Autumn Westmoreland scored 16 points to power the Aggies past the Sundevils.

Madison Cvijanovich added 14 points for Arbor View, which led 22-3 after the first quarter.

Kiana Parkes led Eldorado with 12 points.

Desert Oasis 64, Clark 22 — At Desert Oasis, Mikala Kirby had 12 points, four steals and three rebounds to lead the Diamondbacks in a rout of the Chargers.

Ashlynn Sharp added 11 points, and Taryn Lampkin scored 10 for Desert Oasis, which led 37-8 at halftime. Sierra Mich’l notched six points, six rebounds and five blocks for the Diamondbacks.

Monique Daniels led Clark with six points.

Legacy 51, Valley 25 — At Valley, TaEha Pankey scored 22 points to lead 11 Longhorn scorers in the win over the Vikings.

C’Aree Stevenson added 12 points for the Longhorns, who led 27-11 at halftime.

Jeuzel Pollins and Debra Schuster led the Vikings with eight points apiece.

Sierra Vista 56, Bonanza 17 — At Bonanza, Shania Harper scored 16 points as the Mountain Lions defeated the Bengals.

Iymoni Burrell had 11 points, and teammate Caitlin Dajalos scored 10 for Sierra Vista.

Madie Gonzalez led Bonanza with six points.

Mountain View 43, Adelson School 32 — At Adelson School, Tayah De’Bouck scored 21 points, and the Saints took a 14-4 lead after the first quarter before downing the Lions.

Nia Van Kempen added 12 points for Mountain View, which hit seven 3-pointers.

Brittany Risko scored 16 points to lead Adelson School.

Western 48, Somerset-Sky Pointe 2 — At Western, Adriana Jones scored 15 points as the Warriors routed the Eagles.

Millani Johnson added 13 points for Western, which led 36-0 at halftime.

Wells 58, Pahranagat Valley 33 — At Alamo, the Leopards downed the Panthers.
