Outlook: The Cougars bring back just one starter as they look to make a big improvement this year.
“There are a lot of new face on this season’s team,” Kaufman said. “Seniors Austin Morgan, Eddie Austin and Trey Austin will lead an impressive backcourt, and Marcus Sobaszek, Jake Kaufman and Nick Howard will anchor the big men.
“There are several young players looking to step up this year, including sophomores Jake DesJardins and Travis Boman. The new-look Cougars will feature an uptempo style with the goal of winning the Southeast League, the region and qualifying for state.”
