BOYS BASKETBALL: Vogel, Burks lead Arbor View past Bonanza

Jesse Vogel had 17 points, and Jarrod Burks tallied 16 points as Arbor View's boys basketball team topped host Bonanza 69-63 on Wednesday.

Cameron Trailer added 12 points for Arbor View, which led 41-24 at halftime. The Aggies won despite being held to only one point in the third quarter.

Jamal Logan led Bonanza with 22 points, and teammate Davian Jordan added 11.

Centennial 74, Desert Oasis 62 — At Centennial, Troy Brown scored 22 points, and Jake Hutchings tallied 19 points as the Bulldogs defeated the Diamondbacks in a battle of Northwest League unbeatens.

Roy Sparks added 15 points for Centennial, which led by two points at halftime before outscoring Desert Oasis 38-28 in the final two quarters.

Drevin Cannon had 22 points for Desert Oasis.

Taiga Miyano supplied 13 points, and Aamondae Coleman scored 10 for the Diamondbacks.

Green Valley 79, Foothill 70 — At Foothill, Xavier Jarvis had 23 points, and Canyon Lewis added 22 points as the Gators withstood a fourth-quarter rally to beat the Falcons.

Lewis had eight points in the fourth, and Jarvis made five straight free throws to hold off Foothill, which trailed 44-28 at halftime.

Matthew Tuttle finished with 15 points, and Isiah Macklin scored 14 for Green Valley.

T.J. Johnson led all scorers with 27 points, and teammate Jeron Bodin had 11 points for the Falcons.

Coronado 77, Eldorado 63 — At Coronado, Jake DesJardins supplied 31 points and 10 rebounds to power the Cougars past the Sundevils.

Kennedy Koehler scored 20 points for Coronado, which raced out to a 44-27 halftime lead.

Carl Crayon had 20 points to lead Eldorado. Dyllan Kounovsky added 15 points, and Carmonte Jones chipped in 11 points for the Sundevils.

Rancho 59, Basic 57 — At Rancho, Lamont Traylor finished with 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Chrys Jackson added 13 points as the Rams rallied to edge the Wolves.

Traylor and Jackson scored 19 of the Rams' 25 points in the fourth quarter as they overcame a 46-34 deficit.

Chris Estrella added 12 points for Rancho.

Kerry Keyes led four Basic players in double figures with 14 points. Christopher Dominguez had 12 points, DeShawn Eagles had 11 points and Matthew Esplin scored 10 for the Wolves.

Las Vegas 55, Valley 54 — At Valley, Marquise Raybon scored 16 points, and the Wildcats held off a late rally to edge the Vikings.

Roell King scored a game-high 23 points, and teammate Zach Nichols added 11 points for Valley, which trailed 41-36 entering the fourth quarter
