Tharaldson’s layup with 20 seconds to play lifted Faith Lutheran to a 46-45 road win over Cheyenne.
The Desert Shields had a chance to win on the other end, but missed a jumper with nine seconds left.
Blake Bell had a game-high 14 points to pace Faith Lutheran, which trailed 34-31 after three quarters.
Justin Miller had 11 points, and Bruce Gaitor scored 10 for Cheyenne, which also got nine points and eight rebounds from Ulises Santillan.
Shadow Ridge 62, Legacy 58 — At Shadow Ridge, Jerrell Springer had 21 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists to help the Mustangs rally to top the Longhorns.
Legacy took its first lead, 58-57, with 1:09 to play. But Melvin Johnson had a steal and a basket to give Shadow Ridge the lead again, and the Mustangs sealed it on a three-point play by Juwan Johnson.
Kevin Branch added 11 points for Shadow Ridge.
Shakir Arrey led Legacy with 20 points, and Jacob Rainey scored 12 for the Longhorns.
Western 50, Pahrump Valley 45 — At Western, Kwan Carter had 18 points as the Warriors outlasted the Trojans.
Zamond Washington had 12 points and 11 rebounds for Western, which jumped out to a 20-13 halftime lead.
Uriel Ramberg-Wiley scored 16 points to lead Pahrump, which got 14 points from Daniel Foss.
Mojave 62, Spring Valley 55 — At Mojave, Darryl Adams led three double-figure scorers with 18 points as the Rattlers outlasted the Grizzlies.
Jordan Glenn added 12 points, and Melvin Irvey scored 10 for Mojave, which led 37-19 at halftime.
Spring Valley’s Ryan Goecke had a game-high 24 points, and Cobie Whitley scored 12 for the Grizzlies.
Chaparral 56, Virgin Valley 49 — At Virgin Valley, Marc Silas scored 24 points and the Cowboys used a 16-11 fourth-quarter run to down the Bulldogs.
Maharie Trotter added 10 points for Chaparral.
Cody Burnside had 10 points and 12 rebounds for Virgin Valley, which got 10 points from Marcus Saunders.
Desert Pines 70, Boulder City 38 — At Desert Pines, Trevon Abdullah scored 16 points as the Jaguars ran away from the Eagles.
Capri Uzan added 13 points and seven assists for Desert Pines. Coby Myles had 12 points, and teammate Milton Wallace pulled down nine rebounds for the Jaguars.
Tyler Newby scored 11 points to lead the Eagles.
Del Sol 58, Moapa Valley 34 — At Overton, Jonathan Spearman had 12 points to lead the Dragons past the Pirates.
Brian Greer added 10 points for Del Sol, which led 29-11 at halftime.
Andrew Huerta scored 14 points to lead Moapa Valley.
Clark 56, Sierra Vista 35 — At Sierra Vista, Carter Olsen scored 14 points to lead the Chargers to a win over the Mountain Lions.
Ty’Rek Wells had 11 points, and Keyshaun Webb added nine points for Clark.
Maka Ellis and Jasper Cook each scored eight points for Sierra Vista.
Sunrise Mountain 60, Tech 35 — At Tech, Damon Heard had 14 points as the Miners routed the Roadrunners.
Trellis Quinn added 12 points for Sunrise Mountain, which led 46-16 after three quarters.
Crawford Linden led Tech with 13 points.
Spring Mountain 78, Round Mountain 27 — At Spring Mountain, Steve Jones scored 17 points as the Golden Eagles routed the Knights.
Shakori Clark had 13 points, and teammate Maurice Stitt scored 10 for Spring Mountain.
Bryce Hunter led the Knights with 12 points.
Adelson School 57, Lund 11 — At Adelson School, Jake Buchman scored 16 points to lead the Lions to an easy win over the Mustangs.
Rom Izkovich added eight points for Adelson, which had 11 players score.
Brendon Rimington scored eight points for Lund.
