Head coach: Paul DeSantis, first season

2017-18 record: 20-9 (8-2 Southeast/first)

Returning lettermen (starters): Seven (three)

Top players: G Jace Roquemore (Sr.), G Dylan Hushaw (Sr.), F Caleb Stearman (Sr.)

Outlook: DeSantis takes over a team that had only ever had one head coach. Kevin Soares won 353 games in 19 seasons at the helm, and DeSantis hopes to continue the success of one of Southern Nevada’s most respected programs.

Roquemore (14.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists per game), Hushaw (13.6 ppg) and Stearman (7.1 ppg) all were among the top four scorers on a team that lost leading scorer Marvin Coleman (16.9 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 5.8 apg) to graduation.

“Foothill will continue to strive to win the league, win the region, and compete to win the school’s first state title,” DeSantis said.
