Top players: F Caden Farley (Sr.), F Martell Williams (So.), G Dajon Keeling (Sr.)

Outlook: Darfour, who had a successful run as Mojave’s coach before leading Clark to the Class 4A state title game last season, will try to work his magic with the Skyhawks.

Farley (13 points per game), Williams (10 ppg) and Keeling (5 ppg) all return from a team that qualified for the Sunrise Region playoffs last year.

“We have a great group of guys who have been working hard,” Darfour said. “We face an uphill climb in an ultra-competitive league. Our goal is to place ourselves in position to make the playoffs, and go on a run at the right time.

“If the players stay positive and fight their hearts out till the end, whatever outcome that results from that is success.”
