Southern Nevada’s Connie Mack all-star team scored a 5-2 victory over ABD California at Golden West Community College in Western Region qualifier play in Huntington Beach, California on Thursday night.

Foothill’s Kelton Lachelt threw a complete game, and allowed three hits while walking none.

Zach Culver (Cimmaron-Memorial), Julian Deleon (Bonanza), Jacob Ortega (Faith Lutheran), Layne Adaro and Brandon Smith (Las Vegas), Kyle Probst (Palo Verde) and Jake Perales (Foothill) supplied hits for the Southern Nevada.

Southern Nevada plays Danville Hoots at 9 a.m. Friday.
