SMALL-SCHOOL BASEBALL: Seven-running inning keys Lincoln County win
Alex Vincent had three hits and three RBIs to lead Lincoln County to a 13-5 victory over The Meadows in the Division III Southern League tournament championship game at Laughlin.
Tristan Davis added two RBIs for the Lynx (19-7), who scored seven runs in the fifth to take an 11-5 lead.
Alex Agrawal had two hits and two RBIs for the Mustangs (15-8-1), and teammate Nabeel Afzal added two hits.
Both teams advance to state.
DIVISION IV
Pahranagat Valley won its third consecutive Division IV Southern League tournament championship with a 10-0 victory over visiting Indian Springs.
The Panthers (23-3) and Thunderbirds (12-7) both advance to next week’s state tournament.
