ROUNDUP: Natale, Dragons rally from six-run deficit to stun Gators

Andrew Natale doubled and scored three runs Wednesday, and Del Sol’s baseball team plated seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to stun visiting Green Valley, 8-7.

Billy Fox was 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Dragons, who made the most of five hits.

Alec Hutt hit a triple, and Phillip McGovern added a double for the Gators, who led 6-0 after 3½ innings.

Foothill 6, Basic 3 — At Foothill, Bligh Madris hit a two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning to key a three-run rally that helped the Falcons down the Wolves.

Tyler Morris supplied two hits and two RBIs for Foothill.

Dean Gettman, Ryan Blatnik and Ryan Weldon each smacked two hits to lead Basic.

Liberty 8, Silverado 2 — At Liberty, Chris Bradford spun a seven-hitter with seven strikeouts as the Patriots downed the visiting Skyhawks.

Nate Bennett and Josh McCollum each supplied an RBI single for Liberty, which used three runs in both the second and fifth inning to pull away.

Dillon Johnson homered for Silverado, which got two hits and an RBI from Wyatt Reid.

Coronado 16, Tech 5 — At Tech, Miles Bice tripled twice and drove in three runs as the Cougars routed the Roadrunners in five innings.

Carmen Digennaro belted a three-run homer in the third inning to key a seven-run rally for Coronado, which got three hits and a run scored from Cain Brady.

Bryan Casas supplied two hits and two RBIs to lead Tech.

Valley 7, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Juan Deolarte went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs to help the Vikings top the Miners.

Alex Tryon tossed a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and two walks for the Vikings.

Race Rayos was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs, and Kevin Rocha doubled and singled for Valley.

Eldorado 17, Chaparral 7 — At Chaparral, Seattle Stoneback went 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs, and Sammy Gonzalez was 2-for-2 with a double and a run as the Sundevils topped the Cowboys in six innings.

Jonathon Rodarte and Brandon Gallegos each supplied a double for Eldorado, and winning pitcher Lucio Arreola doubled and struck out five batters, giving up only three hits in five innings.

Las Vegas 20, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Daniel Ouzts went 3-for-3 with a double and four RBIs to power the Wildcats past the Pioneers in five innings.

Jose Sanchez allowed just one run on one hit and fanned six in four innings of work.

Arbor View 18, Moapa Valley 1 — At Arbor View, Evan McMahan stroked a three-run double, and Zach Quintana doubled and tripled as the Aggies routed the Pirates in five innings.

Tyler Peterson went 3-for-4 with an RBI and Tyler LeBaron homered and drove in four runs for Arbor View, which got three hits from Vince Ceffalio.

Mountain View 8, Indian Springs 1 — At Mountain View, Noah Van Kempen struck out 15 and allowed just four hits in six scoreless innings as the Saints topped the Thunderbirds.

Luke Faubel was 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run for Mountain View, which used a six-run fifth inning to pull away.
