Jason Hicks singled home Tanner McAninch with the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning Wednesday to lift Cimarron-Memorial’s baseball team to a 3-2 home win over Legacy.
McAninch began the rally with a two-out double to center field. Hicks and McAninch each finished 2-for-4.
The Spartans trailed 2-1 before Nick Borowski homered with one out in the sixth inning to tie the game.
Kyle Peeler was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Alex Wenzel went 2-for-3 with a run for the Longhorns.
Arbor View 19, Shadow Ridge 11 — At Shadow Ridge, the visiting Aggies stormed back from an early 9-4 deficit with seven runs in both the sixth and seventh innings to down the Mustangs.
Tyler LeBaron homered, doubled and drove in three runs, and Nate Stepna was 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs and four RBIs for Arbor View.
Evan McMahan went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs and three RBIs, and Jordan Godman added three hits, three runs and an RBI for the Aggies, who got a home run from Zach Quintana.
Logan Hold, Ben Fitzhugh and Bradly Liuzza each hit a double for Shadow Ridge.
Western 6, Pahrump Valley 2 — At Pahrump, Ryan Garbowski broke a 2-2 tie by scoring from first base on a throwing error in the top of the seventh as the Warriors downed the Trojans.
Daniel Carrillo had two hits for Western, which scored four runs in the seventh inning.
Anthony Chojnacki and Josh Yocum combined on a two-hitter for the Warriors, with Chojnacki fanning six in six innings and Yocum striking out two batters in the seventh.
Palo Verde 17, Cheyenne 9 — At Cheyenne, Andrew Dalaimo was 4-for-6 with a triple, a double and two RBIs to help the Panthers down the Desert Shields.
Chris Hopballe was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs, and Lukas Rodriguez homered for Palo Verde, which pounded out 19 hits.
Justin Lane was 2-for-4 with a double and a triple, a run scored and an RBI for Cheyenne.
Centennial 23, Mojave 2 — At Mojave, Weston Caindec went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs to lead the Bulldogs in a five-inning rout of the Rattlers.
Jonas Wellan was 3-for-5 with a double, three runs and three RBIs, and Bryan Bonnell homered for Centennial.
Carlos Romo went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs for Mojave.
Las Vegas 13, Desert Pines 3 — At Las Vegas High, Nolan Cassell had three hits, including a triple, and drove in three runs, and Dillon Dove added a two-run homer to propel the Wildcats past the Jaguars in five innings.
Dove finished with three RBIs, and teammates Mac Lockett and Dustin Cash each supplied a double and a triple. Winning pitcher Daniel Ouzts added a double.
Camilo Murillo and Cody Tolliver each hit a double, and losing pitcher Roberto Hernandez had two hits for Desert Pines.
Durango 18, Clark 3 — At Durango, Scott Martinez went 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs, and Bobby Wright was 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs as the Trailblazers downed the Chargers in five innings.
Jason Fazendin went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Durango, which used an 11-run second inning to pull away.
Desert Oasis 10, Bonanza 0 — At Desert Oasis, Jossaiah Raval went 3-for-3 with a double, a homer, three runs and three RBIs as the Diamondbacks earned the five-inning win.
Kyle Motis went 2-for-3 with a homer, two runs and four RBIs, and Joe Paratore was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs and an RBI for Desert Oasis.
Tyler Condie threw a five-hitter with eight strikeouts to get the win.
Bishop Gorman 16, Judge Memorial (Utah) 3 — At Gorman, Joey Gallo went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, and winning pitcher Jerrel Latham tossed a five-inning three-hitter and went 1-for-1 with a double and an RBI as the Gaels overwhelmed the Bulldogs in the Bishop Gorman Easter Classic.
Justin Jones was 2-for-2 with a solo home run, and Tommy Field went 1-for-3 with a grand slam for Gorman. Cody Roper was 1-for-4 with a home run.
Trey Hoppel went 3-for-3 for the Gaels.
Spring Valley 7, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, Michael Macove and Drew LaComb combined on a no-hitter as the Grizzlies blanked the Pirates.
Macove struck out seven and walked one in 5 2/3 innings, and LaComb retired all four batters he faced.
LaComb also went 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI, and Macove was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs.
Dylan Drachler was 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs.
Basic 14, Wooster 7 — At Basic, Ryan Blatnik was 4-for-4 with a double and four RBIs to help the Wolves top the Colts.
Dean Gettman was 2-for-4 with a double and five RBIs, and Kyle Silva went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Basic, which scored 11 runs in the fifth.
Green Valley 11, Northridge (Colo.) 1 — At Green Valley, Alec Hutt was 3-for-3 with three runs and an RBI as the Gators rolled the Grizzlies in five innings.
Derrick Harmon was 2-for-2 wiht two RBIs and two runs, and Evan Van Hoosier went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs for Green Valley.
Guy Visconti and Royal Bradley combined on a three-hitter.
