ROUNDUP: Condie hits, pitches Desert Oasis past Green Valley

Tyler Condie belted a two-run homer to break a 4-4 tie in the top of the fifth inning as Desert Oasis’ baseball team rallied for a 7-4 road victory over Green Valley on Friday.

Condie also allowed five hits in five innings with nine strikeouts to get the win.

Kyle Motis, Jossaiah Raval and Joe Paratore each supplied a homer for Desert Oasis, which had four home runs and a single. Paratore threw two innings of scoreless relief to earn the save.

Alec Hutt had a solo homer, and Bradon Rogers supplied two RBIs to lead Green Valley.

Centennial 7, Bonanza 3 — At Centennial, Bryan Bonnell threw a five-hitter to earn the win as the Bulldogs downed the Bengals.

Casey Moses went 2-for-3 with a double for Centennial, which scored six runs in the bottom of the fourth to break a 1-1 tie.

Cooper Powell and Will Loucks each added two hits for the Bulldogs.

Robert Higgs paced Bonanza with a hit and an RBI.

Silverado 7, Shadow Ridge 3 — At Shadow Ridge, Bryan Faucher went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs to help the Skyhawks defeat the Mustangs.

Cameron Rosser was 3-for-4 with a double to help Silverado.

Mitchell Shields and Tristan Artist each went 2-for-3 for Shadow Ridge.

Del Sol 8, Sunrise Mountain 4 — At Del Sol, Luis Grullon was 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs to lead the Dragons past the Miners.

Andrew Natale went 2-for-4 with two RBIs to help Del Sol.

Jair Padilla had two doubles to lead Sunrise Mountain.

Spring Valley 10, Eldorado 0 — At Spring Valley, Michael Macove went 2-for-3 with a triple, a run scored and four RBIs to lead the Grizzlies to the five-inning win.

Cody Foremaster added a triple, a run and an RBI, and Cody Smith scored twice for Spring Valley, which was helped by seven walks and three Eldorado errors.

Logan Mace and Daniel Endsley combined on a four-hitter for the Grizzlies.

Lucio Arreola was 2-for-2 for Eldorado.

Cimarron-Memorial 10, Western 1 — At Cimarron, Josh Nuernberg went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and four RBIs to lead the Spartans past the Warriors.

Tanner McAninch was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs, and Nick Borowski tripled, scored twice and drove in two runs for Cimarron.

Brennan Bahr and Alex Harker combined on a two-hitter for Cimarron. Bahr got the win, allowing one run on one hit in 4 2/3 innings. Bahr struck out eight, and Harker fanned three in 2 1/3 innings of relief.

Mojave 17, Chaparral 5 — At Chaparral, Esteban Colin scattered seven hits and struck out eight to lead the Rattlers to the five-inning win.

Colin settled in after allowing four runs in the first.

Jordan Gainey went 3-for-3 with three runs scored, three RBIs, a walk and two stolen bases for Mojave, which got three hits from Anthony Walker.

Beau De La Paz had two hits, two runs, an RBI and a stolen base for Chaparral.

Coronado 14, Cedar (Utah) 0 — At Coronado, Tyler Brown went 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs to help the Cougars cruise to a five-inning victory.

Miles Bice was 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs to help Coronado, and teammate Michael Pollex went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Bishop Gorman 4, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Gorman, Adam Wozniak pitched a three-hitter with two walks and six strikeouts as the Gaels blanked the Crusaders in the Bishop Gorman Desert Classic.

Kenny Meimerstorf had a double, a triple and an RBI in his only two at-bats for Gorman, and Johnny Sewald went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Gaels.

David Edson was 1-for-3 with three stolen bases for Faith Lutheran.

Jordan (Utah) 17, Liberty 6 — At Liberty, the Beetdiggers collected 14 hits on the way to a five-inning victory over the Patriots in the Bishop Gorman Desert Classic.

Jesse Keiser went 1-for-3 with two RBIs for Liberty, which committed eight errors.

Boulder City 12-14, Virgin Valley 2-0 — At Boulder City, Michael Hernandez went 5-for-6 with two doubles and six RBIs on the day to lead the Eagles to a pair of five-inning wins over the Bulldogs.

Thomas Shelley struck out 10 while tossing a one-hitter in the nightcap for Boulder City.

Battle Mountain 14, Sandy Valley 1 — At Mountain View, Dwight Douglas was 2-for-2 with a double, a triple and two RBIs to power the Longhorns to a rout of the Sidewinders in the Spring Slam.

Dustin Smith had a double for one of Sandy Valley’s two hits.

Battle Mountain 13, The Meadows 1 — At Mountain View, Ryan Salazar blasted a three-run home run to lift the Longhorns by the Mustangs in the Spring Slam.

Joey Cook had two doubles for Battle Mountain, which trailed 1-0 entering the third inning before scoring seven runs to take control.

Garrett Gosse’s first-inning sacrifice fly drove in Corin Galati for The Meadows’ lone run.

Indian Springs 11, Lincoln County 9 — At Mountain View, the Thunderbirds scored three runs in the fifth inning to rally past the Lynx in the Spring Slam. 

Victor Valley Christian (Calif.) 17, Lake Mead 8 — At Mountain View, Joshua Bankston went 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs to lead the Royals to an easy win over the Eagles in the Spring Slam.

Bishop’s School (Calif.) 20, Lincoln County 1 — At Mountain View, Connor Sears went 3-for-3 with four runs scored to lift the Knights to a rout of the Lynx at the Spring Slam.

Needles 20-13, Agassi Prep 0-0 — At Needles, Matt McAndrews went a combined 6-for-8 with four doubles, two triples and seven RBIs, and the Mustangs no-hit the Stars twice on their way to a pair of four-inning victories.

Devin Truscott and Mason Cisneros combined on the first no-hitter, and McAndrews and Aidan Shaver combined on the second.

McAndrews struck out eight in three innings in the second game.
