Desert Pines’ baseball team has forfeited a game it won earlier this week against Sunrise Mountain, the Clark County School District athletic office announced Friday.
The Jaguars’ 13-5 win at Sunrise Mountain on Tuesday was forfeited due to the use of an ineligible player. It had been Desert Pines’ first win in Sunrise League play.
As a result, Desert Pines fell to 3-9 overall and 0-4 in the Sunrise.
Sunrise Mountain is 1-6, 1-2.
