Six area baseball players were named to the 2014 Louisville Slugger High School All-America team.
Three Bishop Gorman players were named to the first team. Junior Cadyn Grenier was one of 26 infielders on the squad. Senior Cole Krzmarzick and junior Brandon Wulff were among 12 outfielders on the first team.
Silverado junior Vincent Taormina made the second team as a catcher. Rancho senior Jose Verdugo was selected to the second team as an infielder, and Liberty senior Jesse Keiser made the second team as an outfielder.
