Outlook: Taormina (.485 average, 10 doubles, three home runs, 37 RBIs) has the potential to be one of the top players in Southern Nevada and joins Johnson (.419, 11 doubles, 14 RBIs) and Skelly (5-5, 2.19 ERA) among seven returning starters for Silverado.
“The Skyhawks are looking forward to the 2015 season with high expectations,” Whitaker said. “After being primarily a young team for the last couple of years, Silverado will field a more veteran looking ballclub.”
