ROUNDUP: Rodriguez, Tech show off bats, stun Silverado

Kimmie Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with two RBIs to help Tech’s softball team to a 9-7 win at Silverado.

Jamison Bascom added a double for Tech, which broke a 3-3 tie with a four-run fourth inning.

Riana Splinter drove in two runs, and Ashlee Phillips and Ari Montenegro each had a double for Silverado.

Eldorado 2, Rancho 0 — At Eldorado, Ashley Jarzombek threw a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts to lead the Sundevils past the Rams.

Jarzombek also went 1-for-3 and scored and drove in a run in Eldorado’s two-run fourth inning.
Brandy Marlett tossed a four-hitter for Rancho.

Bonanza 4, Clark 1 — At Bonanza, Raquel Hoyes had two hits, and Kayla Sylvester had a two-run single, helping the Bengals best the Chargers.

Lindsey Rieger tossed a four-hitter for Bonanza.

Durango 16, Desert Oasis 11 — At Desert Oasis, winning pitcher Dallas Boyce went 4-for-5 with a double, and the Trailblazers used a nine-run fourth inning to down the Diamondbacks.

Katie Moore was 3-for-4, and Brittany O’Hearn went 2-for-4 for Durango.

Emily Heinz went 3-for-4 with two triples, and Mallory Hall was 4-for-4 for Desert Oasis.

Sunrise Mountain 23, Canyon Springs 20 — At Sunrise Mountain, Alex Valles was 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI and four walks as the Miners outlasted the Pioneers.

Natalie Sharp and Corey Lights each went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBIs each for Sunrise Mountain, which overcame a 14-5 deficit.

Dari Carter led Canyon Springs, going 3-for-5 with three RBIs.

Chaparral 29, Desert Pines 13 — At Desert Pines, Lauren Lesniak was 4-for-5 with a triple, a double and three RBIs, and Tichina Savoy and Peyton Hunton each went 3-for-3 with an RBI and four runs as the Cowboys blitzed the Jaguars in five innings.

Nicole Lesniak was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Martiza Velasco went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs for Chaparral.

Jazzmin Avalos was 1-for-2 with three runs and two RBIs for Desert Pines.

Green Valley 7, Basic 4 — At Green Valley, Cori Sutton went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs as the Gators held off the Wolves.

Maggie Manwarren was 2-for-2 with three runs scored for Green Valley.

Paige Blake went 3-for-4 with a run to lead Basic.

Spring Valley 11, Sierra Vista 5 — At Spring Valley, Katie Campo was 2-for-3 with two walks, two RBIs and a run to help the Grizzlies down the Mountain Lions.

Georgi DeLio added a triple, three runs and an RBI for Spring Valley. Ashley Coate spun a four-hitter, allowing two earned runs and striking out seven.

Rachel Vargas went 1-for-1 with two walks and two runs for Sierra Vista.

Bishop Gorman 14, Pahrump Valley 4 — At Gorman, Shelby Estocado hit a three-run homer and finished with four RBIs, and Alexandria Gordon went 3-for-4 with a triple and three runs as the Gaels routed the Trojans in five innings.

Carrie Keller had two hits for Gorman.

Tranyce Rankin went 2-for-3 with a double, and Whitney Roderick added a double, two RBIs and a run for Pahrump.

Liberty 21, Del Sol 4 — At Del Sol, Francesca Foti went 3-for-5 with a triple, two doubles, three runs and three RBIs to lift the Patriots by the Dragons.

Kennedy Courtney was 3-for-5 with a double for Liberty, which closed out the game with a nine-run seventh inning.

Desiree Orozco went 2-for-3 for Del Sol.

Las Vegas 18, Valley 0 — At Las Vegas High, Cierra Turner and Christine Pasion each went 2-for-4 as the Wildcats blanked the Vikings in five innings.

Christina Nelson and Brooke Booth combined on a two-hitter for Las Vegas.

Boulder City 15, Western 1 — At Boulder City, Ali Rants went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and the Eagles took advantage of three errors to beat the Warriors in five innings.

Mountain View 30, The Meadows 27 — At The Meadows, Alley Cintron went 1-for-1 with a double and five RBIs, and Savannah Alley was 1-for-1 with a double and two RBIs as the Saints outlasted the Mustangs in a game that featured 42 walks.

Noelle Young went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs for Meadows, which trailed 30-11 entering the bottom of the sixth inning.

Indian Springs 20, Calvary Chapel 4 — At Indian Springs, Baylee McCormick went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs, and Tessa Lounsbury homered, tripled and drove in three runs to power the Thunderbirds to a five-inning rout of the Lions.

Heather Thormahlen doubled twice, and Natasha Cruz doubled and drove in three runs for Indian Springs, which got two hits and two RBIs from Cheyanne Noyes.

Alisa Barry doubled and drove in three runs for Calvary Chapel.

Lincoln County 14, White Pine 10 — At Panaca, Hatty Brown and Chelsea Lloyd each cracked a two-run homer, and Chanel Adamson smacked three doubles as the Lynx outslugged the Bobcats.

Elle Scott and Kaylee Teel each supplied a double for Lincoln County, which trailed 10-5 but scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth to pull within one and took the lead for good with two runs in the bottom of the fifth.
