Centennial shortstop Heather Bowen has been named Gatorade Nevada Softball Player of the Year.
The sophomore, who was the Review-Journal’s Class 4A player of the year, hit .480 with 16 home runs, 60 runs and 54 RBIs in leading the Bulldogs to the Class 4A state title.
She has committed to play at Utah.
