ROUNDUP: Lake Mead volleyball sweeps Indian Springs

Jessica Rinaldi had 13 assists and three aces Friday to help Lake Mead to a 25-11, 25-9, 25-6 win over host Indian Springs in girls volleyball.

Ashley Newton added nine kills and five aces for the Eagles. Amanda Wellman had six kills, three aces and three digs, Jocelyn Cox eight assists and six aces and Sam Herman six aces and two kills for Lake Mead.

The Meadows 2-2, Mountain View 0-0 — At Mountain View, The Meadows swept a doubleheader, winning the opening match, 25-13, 25-16, and taking the nightcap, 25-16, 25-17.

Joy Tiongson had three kills and Charde Page two blocks for Mountain View in the first match. Zari Riley had two kills and two blocks in the second match for the Saints.

Calvary Chapel 2-2, Agassi Prep 0-0 — At Calvary Chapel, Jamie Bearden had eight assists and two kills in the opener and nine assists and two kills in the nightcap as Calvary Chapel swept a doubleheader from the Stars.

The Lions won the first match, 26-24, 25-19. Lauren Feigler had six kills and four aces, Brettani Davis eight digs, Ebony Brown seven digs and Jordan Strong four kills for Calvary Chapel.

Anna Duerden had six kills to help the Lions to a 25-18, 25-13 win in the second match. Feigler added six aces and Danielle Johnson three kills and three aces for Calvary Chapel.

N’dea Cottrell had 15 digs, 12 aces, 10 kills and five blocks in the two matches combined for Agassi Prep. Bree Coffee added 15 digs and 10 assists, Mary Jordan 10 assists, LaBrishun Hardwick 12 digs and eight kills and Simone Ruffin 14 digs for the Stars.

Trinity 3, Henderson International 1 — At Henderson International, Andrea Martinez had 22 digs, 11 kills and eight aces to help Trinity to a 25-22, 25-21, 19-25, 25-22 win over the Wolverines.

Sarah Njoroje had 11 kills, 13 assists and eight digs and Rachel Delaney nine digs for the Thunder.
