ROUNDUP: Cimarron-Memorial sweeps Mojave in girls volleyball

Charmaine Watkins had seven kills and two aces on Thursday to lead the Cimarron-
Memorial girls volleyball team to a 25-11, 25-15, 25-16 home win over Mojave.

Catherine Wyre added six kills and three aces, and Mariah Kelly had four kills and two blocks for the Spartans.

Mojave’s Bobbie Harris had six digs.

Shadow Ridge 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Brittany Meyer had 31 assists and seven digs as the Mustangs defeated the Aggies, 25-20, 25-21, 25-17.

Kylee Schraft had 14 kills and eight digs for the Mustangs. Stayzia Garness had five aces for Arbor View, and Kim Hernandez added five digs for the Aggies.

Centennial 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Johnna Brown had 10 kills, seven digs and three aces to lead the Bulldogs over the Longhorns, 25-13, 25-9, 25-9.

Morgan Vieira had 11 assists, five digs and three aces, and Tiffany Chapman had six digs and two aces for Centennial. Legacy’s Kayla Murray had five kills, and Kelsey Knight had six digs for the Longhorns.

Green Valley 3, Coronado 0 — At Coronado, Jena Chavez had 23 assists, and Siga Appelgate had 11 kills and four aces to lead the Gators over the Cougars, 25-15, 25-19, 25-18.

Emma Johnson had eight kills and two aces, and Sydney Brozovich had eight kills for Green Valley. Coronado’s Kuulei Piena had four kills and four aces, and Alexa Herlosky added six kills for the Cougars.

Silverado 3, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Patti Flagg had seven kills, seven digs and four aces, and Marilyn Agae had 14 assists to lead the Skyhawks over the Dragons, 25-13, 25-6, 25-13.

Silverado’s Taylor Richard had eight kills and two aces, and Madison Harper had seven blocks and three kills for the Skyhawks.

Kadie Miller had eight assists for Del Sol.

Basic 3, Liberty 1 — At Basic, the Wolves defeated the Patriots, 25-21, 25-23, 19-25, 25-16.

Liberty’s Phoebe Baker had five kills, five blocks and eight aces, and Meghan Murphy added 12 blocks for the Patriots.

Foothill 3, Tech 0 — At Foothill, Roseanne Ritchie had eight aces, and Rhinna Gelhart had 12 assists and five aces as the Falcons swept the Roadrunners, 25-6, 25-16, 25-6.

Jezebet Xaypanya led the Roadrunners with 10 digs.

Bishop Gorman 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Liz Manthei had 18 assists and three aces, and Kylie Shaw had nine kills to lead the Gaels over the Grizzlies, 25-15, 25-9, 25-17.

Gorman’s Kylee Chun had 11 assists, and Dannielle Diamant added six kills for the Gaels.

Spring Valley’s Laura Perry had 21 assists and five aces, and Dominique Acevedo had nine digs for the Grizzlies.

Moapa Valley 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, the Pirates swept the Sundevils, 25-9, 25-14, 25-16.

Eldorado’s Marissa Mousseau had six assists and four digs, and Candace Keele added five assists and three digs.

Trinity 3, Agassi Prep 0 — At Agassi Prep, Sarah Njoroge had nine kills, seven aces and six digs to lead the Thunder to a 25-15, 25-23, 25-19 win over the Stars..

Trinity’s Andrea Martinez had four aces, 20 digs and three kills, and Stephanie Arrue had five digs and four aces for the Thunder.

Henderson International 3, Adelson School 0 — At Henderson International, Pamela Sakuma had seven kills, four blocks and 10 digs to lead the Wolverines to a 25-12, 25-18, 25-10 win over the Lions.

Lauren Mushkin had six kills, four aces and 12 digs, and Lee Harrison had six kills, six blocks and four aces for Henderson International.

Calvary Chapel 2, Liberty Baptist 0 — At Calvary Chapel, Jamie Bearden had 17 assists as the Lions won 25-7, 25-16 in a best-of-3 match .

Calvary Chapel’s Anna Duerden added six kills, and Bri Ridley chipped in seven aces.

Palo Verde 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, the Panthers swept the Desert Shields, 25-7, 25-12, 25-16.
