ROUNDUP: Reyes, Lions top Lincoln County girls

Lianne Reyes poured in 20 points Saturday to help Calvary Chapel’s girls basketball team to a 46-37 win over Lincoln County in Panaca.

Chloe Hammond added 11 points, and Phallen Nelson scored eight for the Lions, who used a 19-10 second-quarter run to build a 27-19 halftime edge.

Kourtney Gloeckner had 13 points, and Kaylee Teel scored nine for the Lynx.

Virgin Valley 48, Moapa Valley 47 — At Mesquite, Abbie Barnard had 16 points to help the Bulldogs hold off the Pirates in overtime.

Kourtney Metzger added 12 points for Virgin Valley, which missed two potential game-winning free throws in the final 10 seconds of regulation.

Shelbie Gray had 11 points, and Kimberly Lewis scored 10 for Moapa Valley.

Sunrise Mountain 60, Pahranagat Valley 51 — At Sunrise Mountain, Brittany Veal had 10 points and six steals, and the Miners grabbed a 14-4 first-quarter lead on their way to a win over the Panthers.

Azia McBrown added 10 points, and Deanna Manning had nine points and 13 rebounds for Sunrise Mountain.

Bailee Hosier pumped in 30 points, and Traci Strong scored 12 for Pahranagat Valley.

The Meadows 38, Laughlin 24 — At The Meadows, Bailey Gosse scored 11 points, and the Mustangs used a 12-0 second-quarter burst to top the Cougars.

Anjali Daulat added eight points for The Meadows.

Diana Durazo, DeAnna Tripp and Katelyn Skillingstad each had six points for Laughlin.

Agassi Prep 52, Mountain View 41 — At Mountain View, Javoulaee Green scored 21 points as the Stars downed the Saints.

Kareema Webb added 11 points for Agassi Prep, which led 23-18 at the half.

Rose Adkins and Kiley Murphy each had 12 points, and Caitlyn Martin scored 10 for Mountain View.

Needles 45, Lake Mead 25 — At Needles, Calif., Kayla Hills scored 15 points, and the Mutangs took a 27-14 halftime lead on their way to a win over the Eagles.

Taylor Badua-Kono led Lake Mead with 10 points.
