ROUNDUP: King’s 29-point game carries Cheyenne girls past Legacy

Sabrina King poured in 29 points to help host Cheyenne hold off Legacy 53-47 in girls basketball Friday.

Shaunice Cameron added 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Desert Shields, who held on after taking a 10-point lead with five minutes left.

Kindrea Poole led Legacy with 16 points.

Mojave 53, Shadow Ridge 43 — At Shadow Ridge Jazzmine Robinson scored 16 points, and the Rattlers outscored the Mustangs 18-7 in the third quarter to break open a tie game.

Shanae Ireland and Clarissa Cannon scored 12 points each for Mojave. 

Elisha Hensey scored a game-high 18 points for Shadow Ridge, and Jessica Scarpati added 13.

Cimarron-Memorial 56, Arbor View 53 — At Cimarron, Catherine Wyre scored 22 points to lead the Spartans to an overtime win against the Aggies.

Arbor View overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to force the extra period, but was outscored 7-4 in overtime.

Cimarron’s Zerie Baptista scored 16 points and Veronica Alcala added 15.

Jena Valenzuela scored 24 points for the Aggies, and JaLeesa Williams added 16.

Durango 63, Clark 27 — At Clark, Cherelle Hicks scored 18 points to help Durango overcome a slow start and down the Chargers.

Amanda Boucher and Mia Bell added 13 points each for the Trailblazers, who trailed 7-5 after the first quarter.

Tarah Murph grabbed 11 rebounds for Clark.

Bonanza 57, Desert Oasis 30 — At Bonanza, Shirley Pitts supplied 22 points, six rebounds and four assists to carry the Bengals past the Diamondbacks.

Daytril Beals scored 11 points and Christin Figgins 10 for the Bengals

Alexus Caulk and Auburn Smith scored 12 points each to lead Desert Oasis.

Bishop Gorman 63, Sierra Vista 25 — At Sierra Vista, Aaryn Ellenberg scored 17 points, and the Gaels outscored the Mountain Lions 38-10 in the second half to pull away.

Dannielle Diamant added 16 points for Bishop Gorman. Kim Rouzer led Sierra Vista with seven.

Pahrump Valley 62, Western 31 — At Western, Kristi Daffer scored 13 of her 31 points during a 24-8 third-quarter run that helped Pahrump Valley put away the Warriors.

Daffer also had 15 rebounds. Casey Scheller scored 13 points.

Michelle Simon led Western with eight points.

Silverado 47, Coronado 33 — Mikayla Thielges and Alena Evans scored 12 points each to help the Skyhawks rally past the Cougars.

Natalie Lainhart added 11 points and Shea Collins 10 for Silverado.

Stacy Rapp and Jessica Smith scored 10 points each to lead Coronado, which led 21-14 at halftime.

Liberty 52, Foothill 42 — At Liberty, the Patriots rushed to a 21-4 lead, then hung on to defeat the Falcons.

Jade Washington had 13 points, eight assists and seven steals, and Daynice Cochran had 10 points and 15 rebounds to lead Liberty.

Alysse Thummel scored 14 points and Brigitte Rigon 12 for Foothill.

Green Valley 63, Tech 45 — At Tech, Jazmine Jarvis scored 23 points and Danielle Christensen 20 to carry the Gators past the Roadrunners.

Julie Harless led Tech with 16 points, and Mesha Phillips had 12.

Basic 51, Del Sol 39 — At Del Sol, Basic outscored the Dragons 13-1 in the second overtime to pull away.

Marquichea Burns led the Wolves with 12 points. Kailai Brantner, Marissa Ross and Michaela Thomas each added 11.

Heather Romero and Amy Austin scored 13 apiece for the Dragons.

Boulder City 55, Moapa Valley 41 — At Boulder City, Caiti Forrester made four 3-pointers and scored 22 points to lift the Eagles over the Pirates.

Rachel Moody had 10 rebounds to help Boulder City, and Karlee Koopman contributed nine points and nine rebounds.

Caley Dunlap scored 12 points to lead Moapa Valley.

Virgin Valley 39, Faith Lutheran 30 — At Faith Lutheran, Ellie Biasi scored 13 points as the Bulldogs beat the Crusaders.

Madison Bowler scored all six of her points in the third quarter to help Virgin Valley pull away.

Ashley Green led Faith Lutheran with 10 points.

Lincoln County 54, West Wendover 38 — At West Wendover, Marissa Smerek led a balanced attack with 16 points as the Lynx downed the Wolverines.

Lincoln County led 24-12 at halftime, but it lead was cut in half after the third quarter.

Danika Sharp scored 21 points to lead the Wolverines.

Calvary Chapel 42, Agassi Prep 34 — At Agassi Prep, Sammie Mann scored 26 points, leading the Lions over the Stars.

Larrisha Burrell led Agassi Prep with 19 points.

Mountain View 36, White Pine 23 — At Ely, Ellie Markwardt scored 18 points for the Saints, who opened the game with a 10-2 run.

Patrice Marshall added 13 points and five steals for Mountain View, and Zari Riley grabbed 12 rebounds.

Tonopah 38, Henderson International 19 — At Tonopah, Alex Philips scored 12 points as the Muckers beat the Wolverines.

Brittany Hoff scored 12 for Henderson International.
