GIRLS BASKETBALL: Floyd’s 37 points help Chargers top Spring Valley

Bobbi Floyd scored 37 points Monday to lead Clark’s girls basketball team to a 61-41 victory at Spring Valley.

Shyanne Carter-Wade added 11 points for the Chargers, who used a 23-10 run in the third quarter to erase a 25-23 halftime deficit.

Shania Davis had 15 points for the Grizzlies.

Mojave 36, Sierra Vista 35 — At Sierra Vista, Dallas Hawkins’ basket with less than a second remaining lifted the Rattlers past the Mountain Lions.

Hawkins had 10 points for Mojave, which trailed 26-13 at the half. The Rattlers took advantage of a Sierra Vista turnover with six seconds left, and Hawkins drove the lane for the winning shot.

Sierra Vista’s Kelsey Jimenez led all scorers with 14 points, and teammate Kennedy Nieves added 11 points.

Arbor View 63, Basic 36 — At Basic, Ariona Gill had 17 points to lead the Aggies by the Wolves.

Janae Strode added 13 points, and Katrina Nordstrom recorded 11 points for Arbor View.

Basic’s Jayla Brown had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Boulder City 48, Desert Oasis 34 — At Desert Oasis, Katlyn Daly scored 12 points, and the Eagles limited the Diamondbacks to seven points in the second half en route to the win.

Megan Morton added 11 points for Boulder City.

Mikala Kirby and Ashlynn Sharp each had nine points for Desert Oasis.

Valley 60, Cheyenne 42 — At Cheyenne, Gabrielle Cabanero had 17 points to lead the Vikings past the Desert Shields.

Alaihya Williams added 13 points, and Kennedy Wharton scored 12 for Valley.

D’Hari Lomax led Cheyenne with 12 points.

Rancho 41, Pahrump Valley 11 — At Rancho, Darje Martin had 10 points, seven rebounds and six steals as the Rams shut down the Trojans.

Tatianna Lee had 10 points for Rancho, which led 20-8 at the half.

Jillian Smith led Pahrump with three points.

Virgin Valley 55, Lincoln County 40 — At Mesquite, Abbie Barnard scored 20 points to lead the Bulldogs over the Lynx.

Kourtney Metzger added 12 points for Virgin Valley.

Jaycee Wadsworth had 17 points for Lincoln County.
