ROUNDUP: Coronado boys blank Basic, lock up playoff spot

Jake LeClaire scored four goals on Wednesday as Coronado’s boys soccer team locked up the final playoff spot in the Class 4A Southeast League with a 5-0 win at Basic.

Shayan Heravi also scored for the Cougars, who will take on Las Vegas in the first round of the Sunrise Region playoffs on Tuesday.

Danny Sellitti, who stopped a Wolves penalty kick, earned the shutout for Coronado.

Tech 6, Liberty 0 — At Tech, Jose Guiza scored four goals to help the Roadrunners complete an unbeaten Southeast League season.

Edgar Velazguez and Jesus Herrera also scored for Tech, 11-0-3 in league play.

Goalkeepers Edgar Preciado and Abdel Rodriguez combined on the shutout.

Del Sol 4, Foothill 0 — At Del Sol, Jose Osorio scored three goals to lead the Dragons past the Falcons.

Miguel Tarin also scored for Del Sol. Chris Calderon had two assists.

Gerardo Hernandez earned the shutout.

Green Valley 2, Silverado 1 — At Green Valley, Mitch Anderson and Aric Bonner scored a goal apiece as the Gators got past the Skyhawks and finished second in the Southeast League.

Devin Diego scored the lone goal for Silverado, which fell to third in the league.

Centennial 5, Arbor View 1 — At Centennial, Kevin Rogge scored twice to lead the Bulldogs past the Aggies.

Isaac Ramirez, Joe Mikulich and Pierino Halley each scored a goal for Centennial.

Nico Johnson scored for Arbor View.

Palo Verde 2, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Matthew Polster and Frankie Rivero each scored a goal in the second half to break a scoreless halftime tie and give the Panthers a win over the Longhorns.

Colton McCann recorded the shutout for Palo Verde.

Cheyenne 2, Mojave 2 — At Mojave, Faustino Ramirez and Javie Gutierrez scored second-half goals as the Rattlers rallied from a 2-0 deficit to tie the Desert Shields.

Jamie McNally and Victor Ramos scored for Cheyenne.

Shadow Ridge 2, Cimarron 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Max Garcia scored to break a scoreless tie in the second half and added a second goal minutes later as the Mustangs beat the Spartans.

Goalkeeper Damion Gagnieres had the shutout for Shadow Ridge.

Pahrump Valley 4, Virgin Valley 3 — At Virgin Valley, Melissa Ewing scored two goals to help the Trojans defeat the Bulldogs.

Miranda Monje and Sara Moser added a goal apiece for Pahrump.

Kiera Ogden, Kimmie Martinez and Emma Gonzalez each scored for Virgin Valley.
