Williams-Goss, Pilots hold off Westwind Prep
Nigel Williams-Goss had 19 points and six assists Friday to help Findlay Prep’s basketball team hold off Westwind Prep (Ariz.), 79-70 at Henderson International.
Allerik Freeman added 17 points, and Gavin Schilling and Stanford Robinson each had 13 points for the Pilots (30-0), ranked No. 1 nationally by USA Today.
Robinson also grabbed eight rebounds, and UNLV recruit Christian Wood had six points and seven rebounds for Findlay Prep, which made 31 of 39 free throws.
