ROUNDUP: Mich’l, Desert Oasis spurt past Bonanza

Cameron Mich’l scored 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, helping Desert Oasis fight back from a 56-46 third-quarter deficit to defeat visiting Bonanza 74-70 in boys basketball Wednesday.

Cameron Jefferson supplied 17 points and 16 rebounds for the Diamondbacks, which shot 24-for-32 on free throws. Mike Jenson scored all of his 11 points in the fourth quarter and Anthony Lianzo added 10 points for Desert Oasis.

Andrew Whiting supplied 21 points for Bonanza. John Grady added 14, and Matt Vu and Dasean Martin had 11 each.

Durango 68, Clark 55 — At Durango, Marcus Falley scored all 20 of his points in the first half and Donovan Williams finished with 14, helping the Trailblazers repel the Chargers.

Devonte Williams had 11 points and Shawn Jones contributed nine points and nine rebounds for Durango. Falley also had seven assists.

Isidro Garcia scored 19 points and Rabbit Toler 15 for Clark.

Western 64, Pahrump Valley 49  — At Pahrump, Johnnie Diggs made six 3-pointers for 18 points, and the Warriors held off the Trojans after leading 38-16 at halftime lead.

Melvin Washington added 15 points and Brad Cairo 10 for Western.

Alex Anderson led Pahrump with 21 points, and Marvin Weekly had 17.

Cimarron-Memorial 83, Arbor View 77 — At Arbor View, Kevin Olekaibe poured in 38 points, and the Spartans held off a rally by the Aggies.

Brayden Quackenbush added 17 points, Brandon Washington 13 and Dale Puckett 12 for Cimarron, which led 66-50 through three quarters.

Anthony Trepagnier led Arbor View with 24 points. Maiscei Grier added 16 and Darington Banks 14.

Cheyenne 77, Legacy 63 — At Legacy, Chris McCall scored nine of his 19 points in the first quarter as the Desert Shields raced to a 24-4 lead and breezed past the Longhorns.

Elijah Johnson added 17 points, Jaylen Henry 13 and Demetric Williams 12 for Cheyenne.

Sam Johnson led Legacy with 21 points. Sian Laine supplied 13 points and Terrell Evans 10.

Mojave 41, Shadow Ridge 34 — At Mojave, Kevin James had 14 points and 11 rebounds, carrying the Rattlers past the Mustangs.

Daniel De La Huerta led Shadow Ridge with 11 points.

Palo Verde 62, Centennial 47 — At Centennial, the Panthers raced to a 24-8 lead and defeated the Bulldogs.

Davion Pearson scored 17 points and Nick Hipwell and Bryce Cotton had 11 each for Palo Verde.

Aaseem Dixon scored 11 points for Centennial.

Foothill 63, Liberty 51 — At Foothill, the Falcons took a 29-23 halftime lead behind Evan Roquemore’s 13 points, and he finished with 22 in their victory over the Patriots.

Milos Knezevic scored 28 points and Cameron Peters 14 for Liberty.

Silverado 91, Coronado 56 — At Coronado, James Lata (28 points), Wade Collie (27) and Ali Sabra (23) combined to score 78 points as the Skyhawks ran away from the Cougars.

Brandon Glanz had 13 points and Jamel Morgan 11 for Coronado.

Green Valley 66, Tech 54 — At Tech, Demetrius Pittman scored 14 points and Julian Franklin 12 to help the Gators beat the Roadrunners.

Austin Tebbs contributed 11 points for Green Valley.

Mike Johnson led Tech with 14 points. Brandon Tiffany added 12 and Cornelius Coleman 11.

Basic 71, Del Sol 58 — At Basic, James Holmes scored 10 of his game-high 19 points in the fourth quarter, and Nick Sangchaloay finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Wolves beat the Dragons.

Tyler Dobbins and Vince Carducci had 11 points each for Basic.

Jeff Coon scored 17 points and Durrell McDonald 16 for Del Sol.
