Outlook: The Knights are primed for a big turnaround this season after returning all six starters, including four seniors.

"We are really excited for these returning girls to step it up and play as a team," Woods said. "Teambuilding has been a really large focus for us.

"We also are looking forward to developing the other nine players we have. With only two transfers and two freshmen, we have five girls that are experienced and ready to go."

The sturdy senior doubled as a running back for Legacy’s football team and said he started preparing for track season after football concluded.
