VOLLEYBALL: Aggies beat Bulldogs for first time

After appearing flat the first two games, the Bulldogs came alive in the third set and led 23-20. But Arbor View coach Jay Renneker said he called two timeouts late to remind his players of their capabilities, and the Aggies scored the final five points to earn the sweep.

“Calm down, focus and stick to what we do good: serve, pass and swing hard on the ball,” Renneker said. “We were going to have to bring it at the end if we wanted to win. The longer the match goes, the more it could be in their favor, so we wanted to finish quickly.”
