GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Las Vegas outlasts Valley in five sets

Anna Dobbins dished out 31 assists, and Adriana Rios had 11 kills and eight digs to help Las Vegas’ girls volleyball team to a 25-2, 25-14, 22-25, 23-25, 15-6 win over host Valley on Wednesday.

Sabrina Saldate added 11 digs for Las Vegas.

Gabriella Morales had five kills and five aces to pace Valley. Kyla King supplied six digs, and Kiara Brown notched four kills for the Vikings.

Eldorado 3, Canyon Springs 2 — At Eldorado, Hailey Stark had nine kills and seven blocks to lead the Sundevils over the Pioneers, 25-18, 25-22, 18-25, 20-25, 17-15.

Eldorado’s Jonna White had eight kills and three blocks, and Charlene Gassett had five kills. Kiana Parkes added 22 digs for the Sundevils.

Silverado 3, Coronado 0 — At Silverado, Tehani Faitau had 30 assists, five aces and four kills to lead the Skyhawks to a sweep of the Cougars, 25-18, 25-16, 25-18.

MacKenzie Carter had 16 digs and nine kills, and Sydney Berenyi supplied 17 kills and six digs for Silverado.

Dallas Balanay-Flores notched 29 assists and seven digs, and Madison Karcich had 11 digs and nine kills for Coronado. Zoe Lier added eight kills for Coronado.

Arbor View 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Alyson Jeeves recorded 35 assists, and Sarah Goddard added 13 kills and two aces as the Aggies swept the Spartans, 25-23, 25-17, 25-20.

Kylee Bonham had seven kills, and Natalia Pia supplied five kills and two blocks for Arbor View.

Logan DeLong paced Cimarron with 17 assists, nine kills and three blocks, and teammate Alexandra Payan notched 13 digs. Elise Young added eight kills for the Spartans.

Palo Verde 3, Centennial 1 — At Palo Verde, Arien Fafard recorded 13 assists, 10 digs and four kills, and Mia Sadler tallied 12 digs, 11 assists and three aces to help the Panthers top the Bulldogs, 25-23, 17-25, 25-15, 25-20.

Carli Tanner added 10 kills and 16 digs for Palo Verde.

Siara Roberts led Centennial with 12 assists, 12 digs and eight kills, and teammate Kaysha Clark supplied 16 digs.

Cheyenne 3, Western 0 — At Western, Bridgette Menist had four kills and three aces, and Aseret Geraldo notched six kills as the Desert Shields beat the Warriors, 25-19, 25-17, 26-24.

Leerah Hunt added four aces for Cheyenne.

Elaina Tillmond led Western with four aces and three kills. Jannessa Dunton had three kills, and Nikki Riggs added two assists for Western.

Pahrump Valley 3, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Jill Smith notched 24 assists and four aces to help guide the Trojans to a 25-19, 25-17, 25-27, 25-14 win over the Rattlers.

Alexis Trieb had 17 kills, and teammate Koral Hearn added eight kills for Pahrump Valley.

Sua Estrada had 25 assists and five aces, and Yasmit Sanchez contributed six blocks to pace Mojave.

Sunrise Mountain 3, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Natalie Jaramillo had 13 kills to lead the Miners to a 23-25, 25-20, 25-14, 26-24 victory over the Jaguars.

Daniela Robledo-Toribio added 18 digs and two aces, and Anahis Nava had 14 assists and four digs for Sunrise Mountain.

Brianna Fitzgerald and Vira Tavita each had 10 blocks for Desert Pines.

Adelson School 3, Indian Springs 2 — At Adelson School, Elizabeth Gutierrez had 13 assists and 10 aces to power the Lions to a 25-21, 16-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-10 victory over the Thunderbirds.

Crystil Wood notched eight kills and five aces for Adelson School.
