GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Laityn Sarna helps Desert Oasis sweep Spring Valley

Laityn Sarna had 30 assists and eight digs Friday to help Desert Oasis’ girls volleyball team to a 25-18, 25-11, 25-20 road win over Spring Valley.

Kaia Rhodes added 12 kills, and Emily Ragsdale had eight kills and five digs for the Diamondbacks.

Danielle Amonica led Spring Valley with 11 assists and 14 digs. Alleanna Thomason added four kills and nine digs, and Vaden Mangler had six kills for the Grizzlies, who also got four blocks from Ailing Thompson.

Mojave 3, Del Sol 0 — At Mojave, Sua Estrada dished out 30 assists to lead the Rattlers to victory over the Dragons, 25-18, 25-8, 25-8.

Samantha Rebolledo had nine digs, and Savannah Blanchard-Davis had eight digs for the Rattlers.

Tech 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Tech, Mariah Moses had nine kills and four digs to lead the Roadrunners to a 25-13, 25-19, 25-15 win over the Desert Shields.

Makenna Faught added two kills, 15 assists and four digs, and Cadie Espe had three kills and nine digs for Tech.

The Meadows 2-2, Lincoln County 0-0 — At Panaca, Dani Mason had nine kills, one ace and seven digs to lead the Mustangs to a 25-19, 25-7 victory over the Lynx in the opener.

Anna Dorn had 12 digs and three aces, and Eden Miller added ten assists and seven digs for The Meadows, which also got nine kills from Ashlynn Dovanne.

Emily Ebel had six assists and six digs, and Beau Thistle had three kills and six digs for the Mustangs.

Dina Kosyagin’s seven kills and four blocks led the Mustangs to a 25-17, 25-18 victory in the nightcap.

Ebel had 10 assists and six digs, and Dorn had two aces and ten digs for the Mustangs.

Calvary Chapel 2-2, Needles 0-0 — At Calvary Chapel, Malia Lee and Olivia Kaiser each had seven kills to help the Lions win the opener of the Mustangs, 25-10, 25-18.

Lexi Davis also finished with 17 assists and six aces for Calvary Chapel.

In the second match, Kaiser finished with six kills, and Davis dished out 16 assists in a 25-12, 25-12 sweep for the Lions.

Agassi Prep 2-2, Mountain View 0-0 — At Agassi Prep, Ayanna McClendon had six kills to lead Agassi Prep over Mountain View, 25-10, 25-13 in the opener.

Denise Parker added 12 assists, and Lovely Glinton had four kills for Agassi Prep.

In the nightcap, Tori Miller had five assists, and Glinton had six kills and three blocks to lead the Stars to a 25-14, 25-16 win.
