GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Green Valley sweeps Basic

Rachel Klopfer had 10 kills and 12 digs Monday to power the Green Valley girls volleyball team past Basic, 25-18, 25-9, 25-19.

Abigail Olsen had 20 assists, nine digs and three aces for the Gators. Anya Olsen had seven kills, and teammate Emily Flowers had 11 digs for Green Valley.

Azure Werner led the wolves with 10 digs, six kills and two blocks. Kiara Richardson had six kills, four aces and two blocks for Basic.

Bishop Gorman 3, Desert Oasis 1 — At Gorman, Sydney Lobato had 17 assists and five aces, and Tommi Stockham had 10 kills as the Gaels beat the Diamondbacks, 20-25, 25-16, 25-10, 25-13.

Gabby Mavroidis added nine digs and five kills for Gorman, wich got five assists and four digs from Brooke Chapman. Alysia Nielson had seven digs and three aces, Abbey Archambault had four assists, two kills, and two digs, and Kara Hamrick added six digs for the Gaels.

For Desert Oasis, Kaia Rhodes had seven kills and two blocks, Casedy Field had 16 digs and two aces, and Laityn Sarna had 22 assists and seven digs.

Silverado 3, Liberty 0 — At Silverado, MacKenzie Carter’s 10 kills and eight digs carried the Skyhawks to a 25-10, 25-17, 25-16 victory over the Patriots.

Emma Wenthe had nine digs for Silverado, and teammate Mariah Morris had five kills.

Maggie Heim had five kills and five digs for the Patriots. Ashleigh Rodriguez had six kills, and teammate Tehani Tapuala had 10 assists for Liberty.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Cimarron-Memorial, Logan DeLong had five aces, two kills and 18 assists to lead the Spartans past the Pioneers, 25-20, 25-13, 25-16.

Venishia Dickens had five kills, and Alexandria Payan had two aces and six digs for the Spartans.

Celestial Miller had four kills and two aces to lead Canyon Springs. Alexis Alcocer added 11 digs for the Pioneers.

Coronado 3, Foothill 0 — At Coronado, Madison Karcich had 10 kills and 15 digs to lead the Cougars to a 25-22, 25-23, 25-16 victory over the Falcons.

Safana Boutahiri had nine kills and 13 digs, and Zoe Lier added nine kills for the Cougars. Dallas Balanay-Flores added 32 assists and 11 digs for Coronado.

McKenzie Youngman led Foothill with 10 blocks.

Durango 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Kaci Kedrowski had 12 kills and 12 digs to lead the Trailblazers to a sweep of the Grizzlies, 26-24, 25-12, 25-18.

Hailey Kraft had eight kills and 11 digs, and Makenzi Abelman had three aces, 13 digs and 23 assists for Durango.

Julie Quidilla had seven kills to lead Spring Valley. Alleanna Thomson had five kills and 11 digs, Cashmere Buford had 12 digs, and Danielle Amonica had three kills, 12 digs and 11 assists for the Grizzlies.

Chaparral 3, Del Sol 0 — At Chaparral, Alyssa Porras had 11 kills to lead the Cowboys to a 25-20, 25-14, 25-18 sweep of the Dragons.

Jessica Joined had five kills and four aces, and Alexandria Williams had four kills for the Cowboys.

Sierra Vista 3, Clark 0 — At Sierra Vista, Faith Gray-Williams had 23 assists as the Mountain Lions cruised by the Chargers, 25-9, 25-11, 25-12.

Audrey Dayton had seven kills and seven blocks for Sierra Vista, and teammate Kaityln McMurray had five aces.

Moapa Valley 3, Boulder City 0 — At Overton, JaLea Blasingame had 10 kills and two blocks to lead the Pirates past the Eagles, 25-17, 25-9, 25-11.

Madison Bush had three kills, eight assists, and five digs, and Aria Messer had 10 assists, three aces, 11 digs and one block for the Pirates.

Virgin Valley 3, Tech 0 — At Mesquite, Bernice Fiso had 15 kills and seven digs, and Emma Barnum had 17 digs and nine kills as the Bulldogs swept the Roadrunners, 25-22, 25-23, 25-20.

The Meadows 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Dani Mason had four kills and four digs, and Anna Dorn had three aces and five digs as the Mustangs defeated the Jaguars, 25-7, 25-9, 25-7.

Eden Miller added 12 assists for The Meadows, which got two kills and five aces from Beau Thistle.

Brianna Fitzgerald led Desert Pines with seven blocks.
