Outlook: The winners of the last three Division I state titles, the Cougars will have a different look this season after graduation left the team with only one returning starter.

“The Southeast will be one of, if not the toughest, leagues in Southern Nevada,” Johnson said. “We look forward to the challenge our league and schedule presents us. There will be a lot of new faces on the floor this year, but they are hungry and well prepared for the challenges and know what it takes to compete at the highest level in the state.

“We fully expect to be in the hunt once again for a region and state championship.”
