GIRLS SWIMMING: Dillow helps Falcons defeat Rancho

Sami Dillow won two individual events at Heritage on Saturday to help Foothill’s girls swimming team to a 170-102 win over Rancho.

Dillow placed first in the 200-yard individual medley in 2 minutes, 51.11 seconds and in the 500 freestyle in 7:14.78.

Rancho’s Tonicia Thomas breezed to wins in the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.41 and the 50 freestyle in 26.62. The Rams’ Olivia Johnson won the 100 freestyle in 57.17 and the 100 backstroke in 1:04.73, and teammate Astrid Villegas was first in the 200 freestyle in 2:01.31 and the 100 butterfly in 1:03.53.

Eldorado 159, Sunrise Mountain 84 — At Heritage, Stacey Cuevas won two individual events to guide the Sundevils by the Miners.

Cuevas was first in the 100 butterfly in 1:11.62 and the 500 freestyle in 6:20.75.

Boulder City 211, Tech 69 — At Heritage, Abby Sauerbrei and Montana Lloyd each won two individual events as the Eagles swam by the Roadrunners.

Sauerbrei took the 50 freestyle in 27.19 and the 100 freestyle in 56.92. Lloyd won the 200 individual medley in 2:12.24 and the 500 freestyle in 5;11.77.

Boulder City also was a 214-43 winner over Desert Pines.

Las Vegas 160, Silverado 112 — At Multi-Generational, April Martinez, Kate Blackburn and Christina Wong each captured two individual events to lead the Wildcats by the Skyhawks.

Martinez was first in the 50 freestyle in 27.62 and the 100 butterfly in 1:06.84. Blackburn took the 200 individual medley in 2:51.58 and the 100 backstroke in 1:21.49, and Wong claimed the 100 breaststroke in 1:27.96 and the 100 freestyle in 1:05.87.

Green Valley 201, Valley 89 — At Multi-Generational, Brenna Thornley won two individual events to lead the Gators by the Vikings.

Thornley won the 200 individual medley in 2:26.87 and the 500 freestyle in 5:32.83.

Valley’s Luna Morris won the 100 butterfly in 1:07.02 and the 100 freestyle in 1:03.28.

Del Sol 108, Chaparral 73 — At Multi-Generational, Brynn Sproul and Bridget Droegemueller each won two individual events to help the Dragons defeat the Cowboys.

Sproul won the 200 freestyle in 2:14.02 and the 200 individual medley in 2:34.77. Droegemueller took the 50 freestyle in 28.46 and the 100 freestyle in 1:02.53.

Chaparral’s Shelbee Mirjanian won the 100 butterfly in 1:30.31 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:24.05.

Basic 145, Liberty 113 — At Multi-Generational, Shay Funk won the 100 butterfly in 1:19.25 and finished third in the 500 freestyle as the Wolves used their depth to top the Patriots.

Liberty’s Maggie Powell won the 100 freestyle (1:01.26) and the 500 freestyle (6:14.41), and teammate Sarah Cunningham took the 200 individual medley (2:45.46) and the 50 freestyle (27.46).

Bishop Gorman 150, Centennial 144 — At Pavilion, Anne Boodt, Rachel Boodt and Marley Maluafiti each finished first in two individual events as the Gaels nipped the Bulldogs.

Anne Boodt won the 200 individual medley in 2:15.75 and the 100 butterfly in 1:01.64, and Rachel Boodt took the 50 freestyle in 26.26 and the 100 freestyle in 58.03. Maluafiti won the 500 freestyle in 5:22.24 and tied Centennial’s Maddie Cartmill for first in the 100 backstroke in 1:03.25.

Arbor View 195, Bonanza 80 — At Pavilion, Mikala Ashworth and Kyleigh Dejonge each won one individual event and finished second in another to lead the Aggies by the Bengals.

Ashworth took the 200 freestyle in 2:28.06 and was second in the 100 butterfly. Dejonge won the 100 breaststroke in 1:32.69 and was second in the 50 freestyle.

Desert Oasis 163, Cimarron-Memorial 53 — At Pavilion, Charlotte Randolph won two individual events to lead the Diamondbacks by the Spartans.

Randolph took the 50 freestyle in 26.84 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:24.88.

Palo Verde 226, Durango 56 — At Pavilion, Kasdyn Rafie won two individual events to lead the Panthers by the Trailblazers.

Rafie took the 50 freestyle in 27.22 and the 100 freestyle in 59.22.
