GIRLS SOCCER: Shadow Ridge moves into third place in Northwest after topping Centennial

Shadow Ridge’s girls soccer team leapfrogged Centennial in the Northwest League standings with a 3-0 home win on Friday.

Jazmine Adame, Kaitlyn Banks and Camryn Grant each scored for the Mustangs, who led 1-0 at halftime.

Cheyenne Banks and Danika Shupe each had an assist for Shadow Ridge (8-5-1, 5-4-0) which moved into third place in the Northwest.

Centennial (10-5-1, 4-4-1) fell into fourth place with three league games remaining.

Virgin Valley 1, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Mesquite, Abbie Barnum’s opening-minute goal off an assist by Kallie Graves was the only scoring in the Bulldogs’ victory over the Miners.

Kristina Anquiana and Alyson Cook combined on the shutout.

Legacy 2, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Jasmin Pizano and Gabriella Lancaster each scored a goal to lift the Longhorns over the Spartans.

Jenna Dumont recorded the shutout for Legacy, which led 1-0 at halftime.

Arbor View 7, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Deja Erickson finished with a hat trick, and Jolie Meyers added two goals as the Aggies routed the Crusaders.

Hannah Ferrara and Allyssa Larkin each scored a goal for Arbor View, which led 3-0 at halftime.

Haylee Niemann, Krystin Cooper and Jillian Hudson combined on the shutout.

Valley 3, Mojave 3 — At Valley, the Vikings rallied from a three-goal halftime deficit to earn a draw with the Rattlers.

Iris Chavez had two goals for Mojave, and teammate Diana Loza also scored.
