GIRLS SOCCER: Reynada’s late heroics lift Warriors over Trojans

Ellyson Reynada scored her second goal of the match on a free kick with five minutes remaining Thursday to lift Western’s girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Pahrump Valley.

Reynada also converted a free kick earlier in the second half for the Warriors.

Alyssa Turner scored for the Trojans.

Palo Verde 2, Green Valley 2 — At Green Valley, Tessa Dwyer scored with 12 minutes left to allow the Panthers to tie the Gators.

Dwyer also scored a first-half goal for Palo Verde.

Shestan Lynam and Alexis Kirson scored for Green Valley.

Valley 1, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Lillian Godinez’s first-half goal stood up as the Vikings edged the Patriots.

Fantasia Williams stopped a potential game-tying penalty kick in the first half and combined with Ajanique Reece on the shutout.

Desert Oasis 4, Cimarron-Memorial 3 — At Cimarron, Sydni Aldan had two goals and an assist as the Diamondbacks nipped the Spartans.

Cienah Reed and Miah Strellnauer each added a goal for Desert Oasis.

Natasha Martin had a goal and an assist, and Jaymee Luke and Taylor Hemphill also scored for Cimarron.

Sierra Vista 4, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Sophia Omidiji scored three goals to lead the Mountain Lions by the Grizzlies.

Calista Reyes added a goal, and Jasmine Morice had two assists for Sierra Vista.

Sahana Bojorquez scored for Spring Valley.

Silverado 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Victoria Sanchez scored twice to lead the Skyhawks past the Pioneers.

Nina Jensen added a goal for Silverado.

Mikaila Becze was in goal for the shutout.

Centennial 5, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, McKenna Stratton had three goals, and Victoria Cera added two goals as the Bulldogs blanked the Bengals.

Addison Riddle made three saves en route to the shutout.

Faith Lutheran 6, Mojave 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Brenna Rohnkohl finished with three goals as the Crusaders downed the Rattlers.

Kristi Chinn and Sofia Silvestri each had one goal and one assist, and Nikki Amavisca also scored for the Crusaders, who got two assists from Emily Neighbors.

Beka Lescenski made one save en route to the shutout.
