GIRLS SOCCER: Olivia Meza’s goal gives Coronado win over Green Valley

Olivia Meza scored in the second half as Coronado’s girls soccer team edged visiting Green Valley 1-0 on Monday.

Jensen Boman assisted on Meza’s goal, and Rachel Morris and Taylor Book combined on the shutout.

Clark 2, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, the Chargers scored with 15 minutes left in the game to break a 1-1 tie and beat the Grizzlies.

Dona Acierto and Kelsea Claveria scored for Clark, and Jackie Gonzalez added an assist.

Mackenzie Carcelli scored Spring Valley’s goal on an assist by Savannah Villanueva.

Foothill 2, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Brooke Vokoun and Hannah Harrison each had a goal as the Falcons shut out the Patriots.

Natalie Williams made one save to earn the shutout.

Amadna Carducci had an assist for the Falcons.

Desert Oasis 3, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, the Diamondbacks scored two first-half goals in their win over the Bengals.

Mazeli Rangel, Ashley Wood and Brianna Lane scored for Desert Oasis.

Charlene Beck scored for Bonanza.

Virgin Valley 4, Moapa Valley 1 — At Overton, Abbie Barnum scored twice to lead the Bulldogs over the Pirates.

Kallie Graves and Ally Wright also scored for Virgin Valley, and Alejandra Camacho picked up an assist.

Italia Bracamontes scored for Moapa Valley.

Tech 6, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Valerie Webb had three goals as the Roadrunners topped the Cowboys.

Alysia Mestas added a goal and an assist for Tech, and Yudi Alvarez and Melissa Lopez each had a goal.

Adriana Guzman had two assists, and Serena De La Rosa and Chloe Dody combined on the shutout.

Silverado 7, Basic 2 — At Silverado, Kristyn Lommason scored twice as the Skyhawks topped the Wolves.

Alexa Palmucci, Victoria Bravo, Margie Farnsworth and Melina Amador each added a goal for Silverado, which also received an own goal from Basic.

Sydnie Hopkins and Sasha Bodison each had a goal for Basic, which trailed 5-0 at the half.

Bishop Gorman 9, Durango 0 — At Gorman, Arlie Jones had four goals, and Hannah Borgel had two goals and an assist as the Gaels routed the Trailblazers.

Taylor Cox, Kate Swanis and Tavin Hays each added a goal for Gorman, and Jaden Terrana and Gianna Lacey each had three assists.

Emilie Hong and Kirsten Kircher combined on the shutout.

Boulder City 6, Del Sol 0 — At Boulder City, Madison Manns had two goals and two assists to lead the Eagles to a rout of the Dragons.

Jordyn Trobiani and Kerry Helvig each added two goals for Boulder City.

Goalkeeper Erin Taggard was credited with the shutout.
