GIRLS SOCCER: Jadyn Nogues helps Palo Verde edge Faith Lutheran

Jadyn Nogues had a goal and an assist Tuesday as Palo Verde’s girls soccer team held off visiting Faith Lutheran, 2-1.

Madison Hernandez also scored for the Panthers, who got an assist from Macee Barlow.

Madison Sonerholm scored for Faith Lutheran.

Western 2, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Ellyson Reynada scored two goals to lead the Warriors by the Miners.

Vanessa Margarito and Devany Marroquin each had an assist for Western.

Alejandra Alvarez-Torres recorded the shutout.

Las Vegas 4, Rancho 1 — At Las Vegas, the Wildcats scored three second-half goals to pull away from the Rams.

Maria Hernandez had two goals and an assist for Las Vegas. Leslie Garcia-Pedraza and Brinkley McCoy also scored for the Wildcats.

Deisy Lopez had two assists for the Wildcats.

Saippress Jones had Rancho’s goal.

Shadow Ridge 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Kaitlyn Banks scored twice as the Mustangs blanked the Spartans.

Alyssa Belcher added a goal, and Elin Bomstedt Larrson got the shutout for Shadow Ridge.

Arbor View 9, Legacy 2 — At Legacy, Allyssa Larkin had three goals and three assists, and Deja Erickson added two goals and an assist to power the Aggies by the Longhorns.

Hannah Ferrara had two goals, and Melanie Ara had two assists for Arbor View, which also got goals from Sierra Vicente and Madisen Carter.

Angelica Gutierrez and Isabella Skrinjaric each had a goal for Legacy.

Pahrump Valley 4, Desert Pines 0 — At Pahrump, Sydney Dennis and Makenzie Lunetto each scored two goals as the Trojans blanked the Jaguars.

Kaitlyn Carrington had three assists for Pahrump.

Goalkeeper Noemi Valle-Diaz had four saves to earn the shutout for the Trojans.

Cheyenne 11, Mojave 0 — At Cheyenne, Isel Acosta, Yadira Erives and Maria Borrero each had two goals and an assist as the Desert Shields routed the Rattlers.

Emely Torres and Yaqueline Gonzales each supplied a goal and an assist, and Soray Gonzalez and Rayne Martin each scored a goal for Cheyenne.

Lisette Medina added two assists, and goalkeeper Shayna Thompson had six saves to get the shutout.

Valley 2, Canyon Springs 2 — At Canyon Springs, the Vikings and Pioneers played to a draw.

Georgia Gardner and Saray Cruz-Coreas each notched a goal for Valley.
