GIRLS SOCCER: DeCunzo, Grizzlies blank Trojans

Jozee DeCunzo scored two goals Wednesday to help Spring Valley’s girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over visiting Pahrump Valley.

Amberlynn Twigg made five saves to record the shutout for the Grizzlies.

Faith Lutheran 2, Clark 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Megan Sonerholm scored early in the second half to break a 1-1 tie and help the Crusaders nip the Chargers.

Nikki Amavisca scored in the first half for Faith Lutheran.

Ariana Reyes scored for Clark.

Western 1, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Ellyson Reynada scored in the final minute of the first half as the Warriors nipped the Rattlers.

Cimarron-Memorial 2, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, Jaymee Luke scored two second-half goals, including the winner on a deflected throw-in with eight minutes to play, as the Spartans rallied by the Bengals.

Celina Gomez scored for Bonanza.

Liberty 3, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Hannah Johnson had two goals and an assist as the Patriots topped the Pioneers.

Sierra Gilliland added a goal and an assist for Liberty.

Leticia Godoy scored for Canyon Springs.

Las Vegas 3, Valley 0 — At Las Vegas, Ashlee Jordan had a goal and an assist to lead the Wildcats by the Vikings.

Alica Nunez and Mackenzie McCoy also scored for Las Vegas.

Briana Alarcon made four saves to earn the shutout.

Sierra Vista 7, Cheyenne 1 — At Sierra Vista, Sophia Omidiji had four goals and an assist to power the Mountain Lions by the Desert Shields.

Calista Reyes scored twice, and Morgan O’Neal added a goal for Sierra Vista, which got two assists from Angelina Iniguez.

Yadira Erives scored for Cheyenne.

Arbor View 8, Desert Oasis 1 — At Arbor View, Haley Vicente had three goals and two assists, and Vanessa Lourenco and Breanna Larkin each scored twice as the Aggies routed the Diamondbacks.

Sierra Vicente had a goal and an assist, and Jessica Longhurst supplied two assists for Arbor View.

Sydni Aldan scored for Desert Oasis.
