GIRLS SOCCER: Cimarron-Memorial ties Faith Lutheran with late goal

Nancy DeLaTorre scored on an assist from Morgan Hemphill with 15 minutes remaining Wednesday to give the Cimarron-Memorial girls soccer team a 1-1 tie with visiting Faith Lutheran.

Faith Lutheran’s Megan Donnelly scored on an assist from Mary Martinez in the 50th minute.

Cheyenne 2, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Yadira Erives scored two first-half goals as the Desert Shields blanked the Rattlers.

Isel Acosta assisted on both goals for Cheyenne.

Western 4, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Western, Ellyson Reynada scored four goals to lead the Warriors by the Miners.

Katherine Realegeno had two assists for Western.

Alejandra Alvarez-Torres earned the shutout for the Warriors.

Las Vegas 4, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Alba Trujillo-Hinojosa scored two goals to help power the Wildcats past the Rams.

Brinkley McCoy had a goal and two assists, and teammate Leslie Garcia-Pedraza also scored for Las Vegas, which clinched the Northeast League title with the win.

Maria Hernandez and Anna Bowen each supplied an assist, and goalkeeper Megan Adamson had five saves to earn the shutout for the Wildcats.

Centennial 7, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, the Bulldogs scored six second-half goals in their rout of the Longhorns.

Quincy Bonds had three goals for Bulldogs. McKenna Stratton scored twice, and Brooke Hawley and Asthon Benson each had one goal.

Addison Riddle made five saves to get the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 9, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Sydney Dennis scored four goals to help the Trojans rout the Jaguars.

Vaniah Vitto scored twice, and teammates Makenzie Lunetto, Kathy Niles and Grace Gundacker also scored for Pahrump.

Lizuly Mireles scored for Desert Pines.

Canyon Springs 2, Valley 1 — At Valley, Stephanie Alvarado’s goal for the Vikings was not enough as they fell to the Pioneers.
