GIRLS SOCCER: Cimarron-Memorial offense explodes in win over Tech

Jhoana Martin Del Campo-Garcia led an offensive outburst Friday, scoring two goals for Cimarron-Memorial in a 6-0 victory at Tech.

Haylei Hughes had a goal and three assists, and Annalise Esparza and Morgan Hemphill each had a goal and an assist for the Spartans, who also got an assist from Ashlee Hackett.

Samantha Silva (four saves) and Alissa Longenecker (one save) combined for the shutout.

Coronado 3, Lowry 0 — At Elko, Jensen Boman had two goals, and Olivia Meza added a goal as the Cougars defeated the Buckaroos in the Spring Creek Cup.

Emily Wickens, Gianna Vento and Evie DiFiore each had an assist for Coronado, which led 1-0 at halftime.

Rachel Morris and Taylor Book combined on the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 2, Churchill County 1 — At Elko, Makenzie Lunetto and Hannah McElheny scored a goal to lead the Trojans by the Greenwave in the Spring Creek Cup.

Kathy Niles assisted both goals off corner kicks.

Palo Verde 5, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Jadyn Nogues’ four goals led the Panthers past the Diamondbacks.

Madison Hernandez also scored a goal for the Panthers.

Ashley Wood and Mazeli Rangel scored for Desert Oasis.

Shadow Ride 1, Bonanza 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Jazmine Adame scored the game’s only goal to carry the Mustangs over the Bengals.

Elin Blomstedt Larrson and Makensie Turner combined for the shutout.
