GIRLS SOCCER: Alexis Kirson sends Green Valley past Clark in Las Vegas Kick-Off

Alexis Kirson scored two second-half goals Friday to rally host Green Valley’s girls soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Clark in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Kirson scored the go-ahead goal with 15 minutes remaining for the Gators, who trailed 1-0 at halftime.

Mariah Neshkoff and Chloe Kirson each had an assist for Green Valley.

Palo Verde 2, Centennial 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Macee Barlow scored two goals, including a penalty kick in the final minute, to lift the Crusaders over the Bulldogs in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Coronado 8, Cheyenne 0 — At Green Valley, Caitlin Shannon had three goals and an assist as the Cougars routed the Desert Shields in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Brenna Heenan had two goals and two assists, and Jensen Boman added three assists for Coronado, which also got goals from Emily Wickens, Evie DiFiore and Brittany Whitt.

Angelica Morris recorded the shutout with two saves.

Shadow Ridge 0, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Faith Lutheran, the Mustangs and Spartans played to a scoreless tie in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Arbor View 5, Foothill 2 — At Foothill, Alyssa Larkin had two goals and an assist to carry the Aggies over the Falcons.

Hannah Ferrara had a goal an assist, and Sierra Vicente and Preshus McCraney each had a goal for Arbor View, which led 4-1 at halftime.

Amber Risheg and Courtney Klump scored for Foothill.
