DIVISION III GOLF: Saints’ Horita 10th at halfway point of state meet

Mountain View's Kristine Horita shot a 38-over-par 110 to place 10th after the opening round of the Division III state girls golf tournament at White Pine County Golf Course on Monday.

Incline's Kennedy Kohn is the leader after an opening round 93, one stroke better than West Wendover's Sarah Isaacs.

Incline also leads the team competition with a score of 395. West Wendover is second at 468, followed by Battle Mountain (490), Yerington (583) and Tonopah (762).

The final round is scheduled for Tuesday.
