GIRLS BASKETBALL: Vinson, Crusaders cruise by Eagles

Haley Vinson scored 14 points Friday to help Faith Lutheran’s girls basketball team roll to a 61-37 win over visiting Boulder City.

Bobbi Tharaldson added 11 points for the Crusaders.

Megan Morton led the Eagles with 21 points.

Green Valley 55, Silverado 41 — At Green Valley, Brooke Haney scored 11 points to help the Gators top the Skyhawks.

Gwen Garcia and Ellee Barton scored eight points each for Green Valley, which led 29-17 at halftime.

Deja Siaki and Dayna Foe-Seui each had 16 points for Silverado.

Desert Oasis 59, Shadow Ridge 41 — At Desert Oasis, Mikala Kirby connected on five 3-pointers en route to 25 points as the Diamondbacks beat the Mustangs.

Ashlynn Sharp added 14 points, and Taryn Lampkin scored 11 for Desert Oasis, which led 32-19 at halftime.

Assana King led Shadow Ridge with 14 points.

Rancho 53, Bonanza 38 — At Bonanza, LaKissa Martin scored 24 points to lead the Rams past the Bengals.

Maureen Macato added 10 points for Rancho, which led 38-35 after three quarters.

Alyssa Powers had 11 points and three assists, and Brooklyn Savage had 10 points for Bonanza, which got 11 rebounds from Monei Williams.

Virgin Valley 44, Moapa Valley 38 — At Overton, Kourtney Metzger scored 18 points to lead the Bulldogs past the Pirates.

Spencer Green added eight points for Virgin Valley.

Makayla Jackson scored 12 points to lead Moapa Valley.

Foothill 59, Las Vegas 19 — At Las Vegas, Taylor Turney led a balanced attack with 11 points as the Falcons routed the Wildcats.

Mikalya Yeakel and Katey Roquemore each added nine points for Foothill, which led 12-1 after one quarter and 33-11 at the half.

Jada Williams paced Las Vegas with 10 points.

Lincoln County 54, Calvary Chapel 23 — At Calvary Chapel, Easton Tingey and Hannah Hafen led a balanced attack with eight points apiece as the Lynx rolled by the Lions.

Malia Lee led Calvary Chapel with 12 points.

White Pine 43, The Meadows 33 — At The Meadows, Kadi Finicum scored 15 points to lead the Bobcats past the Mustangs.

Emily Bischoff added 14 points for White Pine, which used a 15-8 fourth-quarter spurt to pull away.

Bailey Gosse had 14 points and six steals, and Delaney Gosse added 11 points, five steals and five blocks for The Meadows.

Laughlin 41, Lake Mead 33 — At Lake Mead, Kayla Nelson scored 15 points as the Cougars topped the Eagles.

Brittany Schelper pitched in 10 points for Laughlin.

Savannah Schmidt poured in 23 points for Lake Mead.

Beaver Dam 40, Sandy Valley 36 — At Littlefield, Ariz., the Diamondbacks grabbed a 32-19 halftime lead and held off the Sidewinders.

Round Mountain 55, Word of Life 8 — At Round Mountain, the Knights routed the Eagles.

Needles 62, Agassi Prep 40 — At Needles, Calif., the Mustangs topped the Stars.
