GIRLS BASKETBALL: Shania Harper shines as Sierra Vista tops Clark

Sierra Vista’s Shania Harper recorded a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds to lead the host Mountain Lions past Clark on Monday, 60-47.

Iymoni Burrell added 10 points for Sierra Vista.

Clark’s Marieka Dent and Alexis Green each scored 13 points.

Valley 52, Eldorado 29 — At Eldorado, Sondra Scroggins led all scorers with 18 points as the Vikings defeated the Sundevils.

Kiara Brown scored 15 points, and Almond Slayton had 11 points for Valley.

Eldorado’s Shakayzzia Hunt led the team with 14 points.

Canyon Springs 60, Rancho 41 — At Canyon Springs, Ke’Ajanae Haley led the team with 16 points as the Pioneers defeated the Rams.

Dayonna Maddox had 15 points, and Yemiyah Morris scored 10 for Canyon Springs.

Kyndal Ricks led Rancho with 18 points, and Alesse Hall scored 12.

Virgin Valley 51, Tech 30 — At Tech, Emma Barnum scored 10 points to lead a balanced attack as the Bulldogs defeated the Roadrunners.

Bernice Fiso added eight points for Virgin Valley, which led 14-2 after the first quarter.

Tayler Muwwakkil and Patrice Thomas each scored nine points for Tech.

Spring Valley 67, Durango 23 — At Spring Valley, Alyssa Scott led all scorers with 16 points as the Grizzlies defeated the Trailblazers.

Bria Hardin-Davidson had 12 points for Spring Valley.

Analiyah Matthews led the Trailblazers with 13 points.

Chaparral 38, Del Sol 10 — At Chaparral, Sierra Shaw’s double-double led the Cowboys to a victory over the Dragons.

Shaw had 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Alexandria Williams scored nine points for Chaparral, and teammates and Tiara Martin and Jai’La Vincent each scored eight.

Calvary Chapel 48, Adelson School 8 — At Calvary Chapel, Malia Lee’s 20 points led all scorers as Calvary Chapel defeated Adelson School.

Talina Inguanzo added 10 points for Calvary Chapel.

GV Christian 27, Laughlin 12 — At Laughlin, the Eagles downed the Cougars.
