Top players: G Mikala Kirby (So.), G Ashlynn Sharp (So.)

Outlook: Evans returns after a one-year hiatus and inherits a team with plenty of potential.

Kirby led the team in scoring last year with a 17.4-points per game average. Sharp, the team’s top 3-point shooter, averaged 7.8 ppg.

“We are looking to improve from last year,” Evans said. “We are still young, starting a freshman and two sophomores, but we are excited about our guard play and are ready to compete.”
