The junior guard scored 33 points in the Stars 76-74 win over Rancho. Williams also averaged 19 points in wins over Calvary Chapel, Innovations International and Lake Mead.

The senior guard scored 33 points in the Gators’ 63-45 nonleague victory over Rancho.

Jacob Baird, Virgin Valley

The 132-pound senior won the Chaparral Invitational by going 4-0 and helping the Bulldogs claim the team title. He won all of his matches by fall.

ARBOR VIEW — Boys basketball player Donovan Yap came off the bench to score 17 in a 73-69 over Shadow Ridge.

BONANZA — Wrestler Max Sullivan placed third at the Chaparral Invitational as the only freshman on the varsity team. Flag football player Bree Hernandez-Silva rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown and passed for 184 yards and four touchdowns.

FAITH LUTHERAN — Boys basketball player Elijah Kothe had 27 points and 13 rebounds against Las Vegas. Girls basketball player Maddy Larson collected a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds against Las Vegas.

MOJAVE — Flag football player Yasmit Sanchez caught three passes for 30 yards against Coronado.

PAHRUMP VALLEY — Wrestler Jeremy Albertson went 3-0 to win the 195-pound championship at the Chaparral Invitational.

PALO VERDE — Bowler Larry Ewell rollwed a 196 o help the Panthers beat previously undefeated Centennial.

SIERRA VISTA — Girls basketball player Iymoni Burrell had 11 points and three steals against Bishop Gorman.
