RECRUITING: Arbor View lineman King commits to Washington State

Arbor View senior offensive lineman Keenen King made an oral commitment to Washington State, announcing his decision Sunday night on Twitter.

King's commitment is nonbinding, and the first day he can sign a letter of intent is Feb. 3. Washington State's coaches cannot comment until that time.

"Over a lot of consideration and talking with my family, I have came to the conclusion of where I will be attending school next year," King wrote on his Twitter account. "I'm very thankful for all the schools that have recruited me and offered me scholarships, but I have decided to attend Washington State University."

The 6-foot-5-inch, 308-pound King is a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com. He chose the Cougars over Boise State, Oregon State and UNLV.

King is scheduled to make an official visit to Washington State on Dec. 4 and had a visit to Boise State scheduled for the weekend of Dec. 11.
