Dabbs, Sundevils rout Durango

Devin Dabbs threw two fourth-quarter touchdown passes Friday to help Eldorado’s football team finish off a 34-0 victory over visiting Durango.

Dabbs completed 17 of 31 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns and rushed nine times for 30 yards.

The Sundevils (3-0) allowed only 126 total yards and forced six turnovers. Joshua Brown intercepted Durango quarterback K.C. Moore in the second quarter and returned it 41 yards for a touchdown.

Brown added four catches for 85 yards and a touchdown and 40 rushing yards.

Tyler Spivey finished with five catches for 31 yards, including a 6-yard score from Dabbs early in the fourth quarter.

The Trailblazers (1-2) were led by junior running back Leontre Austin, who ran 16 times for 59 yards and caught five passes for 27 yards.
