Berkley, Mustangs dominate Bobcats

The Meadows’ Jack Berkley had 11 carries for 111 yards and three touchdowns on Friday to lead the Mustangs to a 48-0 win over White Pine.
The Meadows’ Jacob Gleason finished 6-of-10 passing for 66 yards, and teammate Ethan Fridman hauled in three receptions for 56 yards. Thayne Carlson added 31 yards rushing and two scores for the Mustangs, who led 42-0 at halftime.
Adam Martinez began the game with a 58-yard punt return, and Connor Bucknam added a 30-yard interception return for The Meadows (2-2, 1-0 Division III Southern), which played without star running back Bryson Navallo, who is nursing a sore ankle.
Drue Ashby rushed for 57 yards on 13 carries for White Pine (1-2, 0-1).
